TLDR: some have very low moral bottom lines, lots of death and survival. Poetic writings!! Read at your own risk. But personally I think most are very well written with a captivating writing style.  <<less

Some of my favorite novels 

A list of novels which I consider worth reading, if you're into my flavor of 'alternate world escapism'. Although I enjoy reading many things, few webnovels actually 'feel' like novels to me. This list exists to shed light on a few noteworthy examples. Everything will be harem, if romance is involved. It's a lazy plot device, but a nice way to give everyone a happy ending. If done correctly. Tropes should only be included if they are done tastefully or from a fresh perspective. s*x is a must for adult audiences. Violence, torture and gore without s*x is comical. Child soldiers are okay, but fanservice isn't? Are we in Victorian England? Truly the worst timeline.... more>> style="line-height: 40px;"> Originally, I only watched anime. This slowly devolved into binging manga and then reading the source material. Sadly, I am rapidly becoming aware of my own mortality. Authors die. Serializations end prematurely. Due to recent advancements in AI, I've taken it upon myself to just read the original material through MTL. Originally, I would only recommend series which had concluded satisfactorily. This is becoming less and less possible. My point in saying this is that, life is short. Most people will never read "Me, Her & Live Ammunition". Science fiction has withered on the vine to give way to inferior fantasy schlack. But it's fine. "God is in his heaven, all is right with the world." <<less

Mostly BL but a couple straight romance books.

These novels are the best of the best, featuring strong (but not inhumanly perfect) MCs, MLs that don't try to take over MC's life, and interesting stories that are the perfect balance of plot and humor.

They tell stories of love that is unwavering, unconditional, and woven together with trust and confidence: the best kind of love.
