[1] - Censored by skipping and can pass as Shounen Ai
[2] - NSFW is there but slight vague due to censorship/minimal descriptions or is very short
[3] - Just enough to say 'oh smut', but abit short and censorship makes you sad. Descriptions of actions & swords C-.
[4] - Spicy, (ღ˘⌣˘ღ). Descriptions of actions & swords B rating, slightly censored and good length of NSWF scene.

Pattern could be seen among the novels I've picked that is that these novels contains non-obnoxious MC, satisfying (to a certain extent) plot, good translation, focus mainly on MC and such. Though I highly rated these novels, there is no guarantee that this list will satisfy all the readers, that is because a good story is a story that provides what the readers wanted or needed. NB = There are novel series which I've only read their Manga/Manhwa adaptation, and not their novel version. They are noted with MANGA/MANHWA VERSE. Still, I can assure you that these series I've picked still excels in their manga/manhwa version.

Some books on here people can argue if they are actually OP or not, since the only real "power" the protagonist has is making REALLY REALLY good food, but if your food can garner you *millions* of views or let you make friends w high official of the palace, then I think that should count right? Let me know what you think, since I'm not entirely sure myself. <<less

Yes I love Isekai but not all isekai

I mostly read feel-good stories, usually with romance. These stories mostly have OP characters, or the MCs get their way most/all of the time. Some might call some of these main characters Mary-Sue and whatever the male equivalent is as well (Gary-Sue???). But I read and watch things to be happy, so I'm perfectly fine without all the drama. Things can be explored simplistically and gently, not everything needs to be dramatic. ... more>>

Most importantly, if there is romance, then it's actually GOOD ROMANCE. No misunderstandings (or very very little and trivial and is resolved super fast), and there's solid RESPECT for each other in the relationship. Even if the plot's good, I usually refuse to read or watch anything with poorly written romance. If it's written that way to make a statement, that's fine, I understand, but I usually avoid it because I don't need more angst in my life HAHA.

I finished all the Chinese novels that haven't been completely translated because I can read Chinese, so I can guarantee a happy ending. Some, like the Japanese or Korean ones, I need to wait for translations and may be slightly behind. 

But anyways,I'm a sucker for stories were MCs get their ways, at least most of the time, and happy endings. 

I'm not saying they're all perfect, and if people are looking for more serious stories, then these might not be for you, but give it a try to know for certain.

Note: This isn't really a recommendation list. As mentioned in the title, I'll only mention if it's good or bad with no particular explanation because this list is mostly for me... and that I most probably forgot the details on the novels listed here lmfao. 

Most of the "On hold" are novels that has something I don't like(petty or not... well, mostly petty since I'm petty) which makes me stop reading, but put on hold in case I want to read it again(is what I had in mind). It just accumulated because whenever I try to continue to read some it just makes me remember why I put it on hold in the first place and stop reading it entirely, but still have enough hope to not drop it.
