It’s good but the LN version is better. Despite the backdrop, the mc is surprisingly grounded.

I’m about a 100 chapters in the Second Coming of Gluttony, but as for Shinmai Maou no Testament I’ll have to say no for that unfortunately — I’m not a fan of yuri action in a harem setting. The way I see it, harem members doing it with each other is just as much netorare/netorase as if they’re doing it with another dude.
Feel free to recommend some other interesting novels you come across though, and I’m glad my list could be of some help.
@Flaneur1917 Wait then doesn't Magika no Kenshi have yuri action? Maybe you don't mind a bit of yuri when the MC is present but in Shinmai some girls do it w/o him? In any case Shinmai does feel like a hentai with plot rather than a harem novel. At least it's better than DxD or HxH imo. I can't stand it when the battle scenes aren't done properly
@Tatsuya SIGH With Magika no Kenshi as far as I can remember (and checked), the yuri only happens between side characters and not with any of the main character’s girls. At least I haven’t been able to find it — I’ve done google searches with key terms, read the wiki page, Baka-manga updates, the tv tropes page, and read up to volume 9.
I don’t mind if there’s lesbian characters in the story. What I do mind is when the main character’s girls do it with another man or woman that is not the main character — I view either case as ntr. However, if there is actually any yuri action between the main character’s girls in Magika please do let me know so that I can remove it from the list.
@Flaneur1917 Well I can remember at least a scene where MC does it with 2 women and 1 girl fondles another's breast (together with MC). I think that's as far as it goes though, they didn't even touch each other down there. Later on there's a huge or*y scene, not quite sure what happens there. It's kinda impossible to not have an girl on girl action in such scenarios I think
It does, but it’s not exactly what I’d call a good story — it’s mediocre at best. I don’t mean to diss you if you personally enjoyed it, but I don’t think that it’s good enough to be on this list.
I’m actually currently reading the Second Coming of Gluttony — I’ll consider adding it to the list after I’ve finished it.
Based on what I’ve read so far, I wouldn’t rank it higher than my current no.1 or 2, but it would definitely displace my current no.4.
I’ve only watched the anime adaptation of the series, and as far as I can remember, it doesn’t have a harem ending. If you can give me proof that it does, I’ll add it to the list.
