Former assassin turned mercenary, 42-year-old Takashi Suzuki, is nearing the end of his life due to terminal cancer. However, he is summoned from Japan by a goddess of another world and tasked with assassinating 32 heroes who were summoned from Japan. With a new body and magic from the other world, Suzuki, now known as Ray, sets foot in the other world. Utilizing his knowledge and skills from his past life, he systematically eliminates each of the heroes who are running amok with their cheat abilities. However, in the process, he becomes entangled in conspiracies surrounding the summoning, mysteries of the other world, and the goddess’s intentions.
