I was slowly creating this list for about a year. When I've got nothing else to do I was gradually expanding it and that's the result.

To make it more descriptive and clarify some things I've put what I consider the main focus of the story under the 'Main Tags' line.

I've also added some comments to express what I thought about most novels that I've read.
As a bonus I've thrown out here some things that people look for or try to avoid like romance and mentioned similar titles that I've read myself.

Tags' explanation:

Mature:
FL - foul language, G - gore, E - ero elements.

Romance:

'No Romance' - nothing worth mentioning/mc is a loner, No Romance(?) - I haven't seen any, 'Romance' - only 1 heroine, Yanderes - self-explanatory, Harem - if MC is in CONFIRMED relationships with
several love interests, not a japanese useless one.

10/10 - Perfection (for me).

9/10 - Not 10/10 but pretty close.

P.s I've read a lot of novels (more than 200), so I've chosen more popular titles, or at least novels that I've liked more than others. So very few novels here can be considered questionable or 'hidden gems'. <<less

NOTE: Bear in mind that this is specifically for stories with MCs who get stronger REALLY fast, so I'm not going to include a few series where the cultivation is quick but you have to wait 1,000 chapters between breakthroughs. The only exception is Emperor's Domination, due to how satisfying it is to see the MC faceroll all of his enemies. <<less

I am sure there are different reasons for this development. And without a doubt one of them is a female readers' activity. What I mean is that they are much more active and generous in rating, comment section, lists. etc. If you are looking for proof you can try sorting all the novels by rating and here you will mostly see yaoi, shounen-ai, josei, shoujo, romance. Also, many other novels can't escape their influence. I mean, nobody said that they can't enjoy popular seinen novels, right? I am not saying that it's something bad or trying to stop them, but as a normal, straight guy, I can't enjoy the situation either.

So here comes my personal, manlier than even me, top of the novels I've enjoyed reading!

I can't really describe myself as a picky reader, but I have to spend quite a lot of time looking for something that satisfy my preferences. Which are mainly: 

1. No wimp/beta protagonist. (Life is hard as it is. I see no reason to read about someone's indecisiveness and useless tears.)

2. Protagonist with at least average level of intellegence. Otherwise it's too annoying to read.

3. As a litrpg genre fan i've got a soft spot for stories with different kinds of systems.

I honestly love horror and sci-fi too much not to make a list with all my favourites in it~ Nothing beats a good game of body part tag or a Sci-fi doomsday/space exploration.  I really love the type of protagonist who sees a ghost and pretends that nothing has happened, or the type that wants to make friends with them.
