Some notes on author styles before reading:
MXTX: very complex world building, flashbacks galore, some explicit scenes so pls pls either skip or be 18+, YEARNING

Meatbun: you literally have to be 18+, READ THE WARNINGS if you can't stand them just wait for the HYX drama to come out with a heavily censored version, knives knives knives, tissues are a must, pls i beg of you read the warnings

Priest: has lots of the politics side, not too much romance overall (but more than ppl say), very plot heavy, knives but TYPICALLY happy ending especially in the extras!! <<less

For the novels that don't just expose endless descriptors, but also have a clever and well thought out story to tell. Whether it be tragic grinds that test your limits or joyful romps that celebrate life, these novels are things that I consider fulfilling reads from cover to cover. I have a bit of a hard on for Korean Novels in particular. It's just because of the stylistic choices these authors make. If Chinese Novels are about blood-thirsty, cruel, never-ending, arrogant, one-sided and shallow stories; and Japanese Novels are about weak-willed, nonsensical, piddling constantly hesitant stories; then Korean Novels are a different beast all together.

There are also novels that I REALLY loved reading but have no entries on this site. These novels are *legally* hosted on WebNovel and elsewhere. I will list the novels that struck me as abnormally good here in the description.

I'll use the following criteria (doesn't have to meet them all):

1. Found Family (FF) = Collects friends and allies like it's the easiest job in the world (BONUS [FF+]: if said friends/allies care about MC so much that they are MC's family truly)

2. Self-Sacrificial (SS) = coughing up blood/dying/getting hurt gang (BONUS [SS+]: if friends/allies heavily disapprove of MC's self-sacrificing habits)

3. Self-Deception (SD) = the Cognitive Dissonance that makes us stan cale (BONUS [SD+]: if MC is an unreliable narrator/undermines themself)

cale: I'm so selfish...i just wanna be lazy and slack off. 

cale: *saves the world*

cale: hold on....where did my slacker life go?! 

4. Slightly Tsundere, but mostly Calm (TC) = in other words, that Warm Heart

5. Strategic Type (ST) = plans out things to better their situation

6. Crazy Bastard (CB) = would do things (BONUS PTS [CB+]: if those "things" benefit others) that only someone with almost no self-preservation would do

7. No romance at all (No Rom) = not looking for no one, just friendships, anything is allowed, as long as it is PLATONIC THROUGHOUT the story
