Every drama mentioned here has been subbed in English.

To know the legal sites to watch these dramas I will be mentioning which all are available on YouTube(most dramas are available to watch for free only Iqiyi dramas need VIP to watch the rest of the episodes ) mostly it will be Iqiyi , Youku , Tencent (WeTv) , Mango channel , Hunan TV (all these channels are there on YouTube )otherwise some of them are available in Viki or Netflix to know alternative legal streaming sites please check My drama list .  com 

Also for Iqiyi you will have to pay memberships fees to watch dramas after the first 2 free episodes.

For the novels that don't just expose endless descriptors, but also have a clever and well thought out story to tell. I have a bit of a hard on for Korean Novels in particular. It's just because of the stylistic choices these authors make. If Chinese Novels are about blood-thirsty, cruel, never-ending, arrogant, one-sided and shallow stories; and Japanese Novels are about weak-willed, nonsensical, piddling constantly hesitant stories; then Korean Novels are a different beast all together.

There are also novels that I REALLY loved reading but have no entries on this site. These novels are *legally* hosted on WebNovel and elsewhere. I will list the novels that struck me as abnormally good here in the description.

All novels in this list have romance/ harem to quench your thirst (unless I say otherwise). Just having harem doesn't make it bad, only how it's written. 

MC refers to the Male MC, the one you are reading as, 'protagonist' refers to the classic 'hero' of the 'original' story. I'll also include till what chapter i've read the novel, sometimes the novels improve as you progress but 99% of the times tr*sh stays tr*sh.

Note: if i run out of space i'll consider removing some novels to try and spotlight the newer/ up-and-coming novels instead. If i do so i'll state it here.
