I'm tired of the double standards, third parties, unnecessary drama, scumbags etc. This list features extremely devoted couple! 1v1 HE. Totally safe to read. 

Gong (Seme) and Shou(Uke) are each others first & only s*xual partner; first & only love.  (Either it's explicitly mentioned, mentioned by the author, mentioned between the lines, or assumed in some cases if no other partners/ prior experience is mentioned). No exes, cinnabar moles, substitutes etc. 

No other partners in case of a seperation or breakup. 

No getting r*ped/ assaulted/ kissed/ mol*sted by passerbys or supporting leads. No love triangles or leading others on. If there's a harem it should be dismissed by the end. If either Gong or Shou are actors, then they should be the type that doesn't do intimate scenes. 

No kids involving other women (surrogacy). No marriage of convenience with other woman.

Character — hopefully self-explanatory

Plot — is the plot good and is it well paced?

Language — quality of the writing; may not be super relevant to you, since I'm reading in Chinese

Premise — if you sum it up in 2-3 sentences, does it sound interesting?

Logic — are things believable and consistent within the context of the story?

Interest — basically how willing I am to give up my sleeping time to read the book lol

Then I average all the scores and if it's 9+ it's 5 stars; if it's 8-9, it's 4.5 stars.

Personally, I like MC's and ML's to have equal footing in terms of their overall personality, I don't like delicate shou tropes that much. 

And in my own, very subjective opinion, these novels have really good plots, or at least most of their logic is in the bounds of normal human logic.

Somethings I never had the chance to note because I (also) filled up the description boxes’ capacity limit in the first list. 

1. I have not read all the novels on this list YET. All read novels are on part 1 with the according reviews. I made this list so I could have something visual to look at when looking for good quality novels to read. I judge "good quality novels" by seeming reviews and ratings or perhaps the book has an interesting premise you don’t usually find.

2.  I look for a capable MC and a subjectively respectful ML, but that doesn’t necessarily mean every book I put here fits that requirement. Once again, there is always exceptions. 

3. I don't like looking at the rating of the novel when there are barely any reviews. Thus I look at the reviews. If the reviews (even scarce) like it, it has potential. Thus, FME indicates that a novel has been added regardless of NU rating.

I hate naïve s*upid shou's. If a shou is like that I will dump the novel. I only like strong shou's or at the very least a shou with a brain. I won't read harems I'm a 1v 1 only girl. I will read novels that are like harems though like what "long qi" writes but they have to be really one person still. I also have a strong concept of cheating in stories like after meeting I don't want them to get involved with anyone else even if theirs's a time skip, this is one of the reasons I prefer ch novels to western romance novels. if characters meet but are in love with someone already or are in a relationship I'm not gonna really like it either unless they denounce the previous relationship and make the ml or mc their only true love. <<less
