The novels you're gonna be seeing here are of course, romance novels, that are straight and are either realistic, fluffy, no dog-blood drama and 109876 chapters spent to resolve misunderstandings, no 5 men chasing after the protagonist, no male lead with 1000 concubines, makes sense to at least at the bear minimum, light-hearted, or some philosophical really deep stuff(though rarely). But mostly, it's gonna be more about fluff, light-hearted and more focused on romance.

These are the novels I've given a try in 2021. I've also only been MTLing for like a couple of weeks so I've only completed some of them. I am of course going to include novels I've dropped and try to say the reason BUT, I have an awful memory so I don't even remember what I read last week, so some reviews might not be too accurate. I guess with age, our taste turns weirder. I no longer dream of the prince charming on a white horse, but rather, I've set my target on the cold and indifferent villain. So here is the list of my favorite, flawed yet amazing MLs. 

This is purely subjective and please follow the list if you have the same weird taste as mine and do tell if you have other recommendations.

With that being said, Im into MLs with emotional issues and social barriers so you may not like them at first. I dont like perfect and very good mannered MLs, I like them flawed!

well written stories that i think are deserving of 4-5 stars, Mostly slice of life with romance, occasionally one or two that will make you feel emotional, some brain-dead fluff but they all have characters and stories worth loving.

if you're anything like me and have random moods where you need to read a specific modern, light-hearted, slight drama, comedic, romance novels which are for the most part slice of life-you're absolutely at the right place. this is a must-have list!!!

some stories are written by more experienced authors who even have their works turned into dramas but others are cute fluffy reads as well as fluff+good plot flow.

Not all the novels on this list are equally good. Some are okay, some are good, some are loved a lot. Nevertheless, I managed to complete them, so that means they're all readable.

For novels that are my absolute favourites which are those that I will reread many times, I will mark them with a "Best-Loved" award.

Some may get a "Honorable Mention" if they don't quite make it to Best-Loved, but they do stand out from the rest.

I will try my best to leave my impression of the novel in the comments. For some novels I will only say it's an enjoyable read which means for some reason or another they don't make the Best-Loved or Honorable Mentions list.
