I've been going on a journey from A to Z due to lack of novels for me to read, as it felt like I read everything. Like I read way too much on this site... I just hit 650 reviews... though most of them were just a few words / sentences... I decided to finally make a reading list of what I think the best novels on this site are for male readers. I USUALLY ignore 4 types of novels

1. Romance focused

2. Historical focused

3. Female Leads

4. Dropped novels

Now, before u get mad, I only included ones that I CONTINUED liking. Because many times, the story quality ends up dropping the farther along the story is. I read a lot, so I'm very picky. Like when I first came to this site, I literally loved isekai, vrmmo, cultivation novels so much because everything was new... but now... there are comparisons... Another possible reason your novel isn't here, is that the novel is just new, and I have not read it yet as it was released after I went past that point alphabetically.

Please note the list will change in the future. I only read up the translation at the time of reading, so some of these books may be removed due to later chapters ruining the story.

Although I have read and liked a few FL Romance focused novels, I will not be including them to this list to be non biased, as I have not read enough of those to be picky about them. <<less

Best pieces of literature ever, like literally some of my favorite novels period, that I unfortunately can't read anymore because I was going to stockpile some chapters after reading to like Ch. 1000 and then I waited too long and forgot everything, and at that point the story was too long to re-read more then once so now I'm just waiting for it to finish so I can binge it. Yeah. What I tend to like: Strong Characterizations, Character relationships, good world building, excellent writing, great dialogue, realistic romancing (basically mature, not in hs anymore romance)

What I tend to dislike: Shounen (too formulaic and limiting on the stories they’ll tell), Harem (if not for realistic/fit into the story reasons), Romance where the reasons the characters like each other are unrealistic/wish fulfillment/s*upid (I’m looking at you, popular/hot/charismatic girl dates the wet mop of a child cause the plot needs to happen)

Current tropes I have beef with:

1. Girl was protected/saved/impressed once by wet noodle mc in early elementary school, so she’s obsessed with him in high school. Such a lazy plot device and it feels like every damn KOREAN/JP novel has some variation of this. These authors need to talk to real women instead of writing this elementary crap. <<less
