The novels I have read on this site started mostly in the Wuxia/ Xianxia Genre but with time I came to read more and more KR and JP stuff too. As a result, the contents will revolve around the usual genre tropes so I won't bother with a long list of tags. I don't have a lot of expectations for most titles I casually pick up.

What I consider when actually calling a novel "bad" is mostly bad writing ability (author) or translation quality. Otherwise there are some things like excessive NTR, those mostly have horrendous writing/ storytelling anyway. There are also things I just subjectively find boring of course.

I hope the list contains stuff that you may come to like just as I did :)

Some novels exclude romance but some include it. Still, I can guarantee that the romance parts are not excessive, some are elaborated modestly while some are just the so-called harem (though the MC doesn't seek for it). So if they're not to your liking, just skip them.

All the novels here have good to excellent plot with decent translation, so, though it's a pity, many novels with good plot but crappy translation couldn't be included in this list.
