By "good romantic story", at minimum: no bs that isn't justified or explained, or is overly done; romance is not offensive, neither lead being an as*hole to each other; romance that isn't overly dry or has too much drama; leads may be either slightly stereotypes or codependent but at least it's cute and they are not 2d but the sides may be a little; chemistry is good and story plot is mediocre or vice versa... more>>

At best: independent badass leads where the romance is a build up of them doing their own thing and getting to know each other; solid world building; 3d characters all around; fluff that makes you happy and not bored to read; there is actually good plot; there is life beyond romance but the romance makes it nice to read too

You find your own ways on how to find and read it. Plus we each have our own different opinions and perspective in things so my thoughts on the stories are just there to maybe guide you a little bit or something in terms of my own personal view? List of novels in my To Read list for my favourite trope, rags to riches! To my best guess anyway since I haven't read them XD. Also usually slice of life. I'll also put what made me want to pick the story up. Just be warned that I will delete the story from the list after I've read so the list will frequently change. I like to view the cover art of the book, and be able to see a lot of novel details on the list in one place instead of having to click to the web novel page. I also include any translation detail like where to find them if they aren't on novelupdates so I can read the whole story without getting stuck halfway because of no translations. Not in any particular order but I try to put similar novels, either in expected tropes or vibes together. And the incompleted ones at the back.  Recommendations are very welcome! <<less

This list is mostly concerned with food descriptions. Does the food sound tasty? Is food/cooking important? Do people react to the food in a hunger-inspiring way? Is it tasty? Is detail given? Do side characters bite into delicious morsels and wish to ascend to the skies because surely they'll never taste anything better?

I also like business aspects and such, but cooking at home is fine too. Contains het/bl mostly, but this list isn't really concerned with romance. A miscellaneous assortment of novels with some/a lot of focus on food that sounds good. I have other lists for plot. This list is for food.  <<less
