Mc transmigrates into an apocalyptic novel, 3 days before the end of time and a few weeks before her death by zombies trying to flee. So she decides that, in account of her weak frame and utter lack of survival skill, might as well make use of those 3 days to hoard as much food as possible, rent a beautiful and isolated villa and live in peace and contentment as a salted fish till everything runs out and then she can just die peacefully by gaz. That’s her original plan till the ML comes up and changes things 

The apocalyptic genre here is more the setting, there’s not too much action here, it’s more a chronic of their day-to-day lives under semi-quarantine. 

And did I mention that they’re both hilarious? Mc’s solution to most problems is just to lay down and wait for death and ML is the voice of reason who always bargains her into continuing and pushing through. So between our fatalistic Mc and the full of optimism ML, you get a good balance of teamwork and personality. what needs be done will eventually be done while also trying to keep a semblance of normalcy, a microcosm of peace in this hell.

To sum up this novel, I would say it’s a warm fire in the middle of a raging blizzard: absolutely heart-warming and much needed :)  <<less

 I remember MTLing this novel! It has the most captivating and epic first 30 chapters I’ve ever read in historical CN! You could just FEEL through the pages all the pain, anger and indignation of the Mc. I honestly think my heart broke a hundred time over in just those few chapters lol  Just for that level of amazing-ness, I would recommend it. Afterwards it became more of a romance story which was still nice but not as great. <<less

Read up to chapter 25. Here we have a mix of unusual genres:, coming of age story, spy intrigue, city adventures, and no romance yet.  It makes for quite an cool read, but sometimes a bit discordant cos while the author is passable with action, it’s visible that intrigues is not their forte; the spying bit makes absolutely no sense.

So far, I absolutely adore the MC: she is undoubtedly the star of the novel (plot included). Flexible, resolute, astute, and a dreamer at her core. One who wishes for a life other than the one she will be shackled to. And willing to fight for it (or escape lol). ML is also a cool cat.

But I just wished the other characters were just as fleshed out… the plot mostly  revolves around MC  and seems a bit redundant at times. But still enjoying it and since it’s too early to tell, I’ll keep reading it :)  <<less

Once reincarnated to a year after their wedding and the birth of their son, MC decided not to be afraid of the frigid and uncommunicative ML and live her life this time around. The novel is not romance or slice of life really more a story of the 10 years spent together as they grow. That lasts 100 chapter and then we have politics (without MC as a real protagonist) for the next 88.

Honestly, didn’t like the ML for more than half of story. He later became more gentle (or domesticated ) and grew to be more palatable.

So far, it’s a very light-hearted romance with a sugary sweet, opposites attract, shoujo feel (i.e. teenage novel) sprinkled with a good dose of hilarious moments which made me chuckle out loud. It’s just a shame there’s very little plot yet. The romance seems to be the point of the story.  But it’s still early days so fingers crossed for more! 

 Oh, and there’s a few "hot and bothered scenes" (no s*x though) which for historical romances is soooo rare and *cough* appreciated*cough*.

It made, what could have been an amazingly great novel, a bit more average. If you wish for more romance f, the sequel, "Let the villain go", is where it’s at. Overall, it’s  a fun and intense novel that I don’t regret reading and would recommend! <<less

Compared to AA, this novel doesn’t belong to the action genre: it’s at its core a fluffy romance set in post-apocalyptic context with superpowered humains called saints and demons they have to fight. Also the MC and ML, are the same as in AA but with a noticeably gentler and less hardened MC. She is the one who dotes on the ML and he, in return, pampers hers. I found it quite enjoyable, as long as you master the art of skipping through info dumps (early on) and woe-is-me parts :) <<less
