pt. 2 No BS, good romantic story/characters
By "good romantic story", at minimum: no bs that isn't justified or explained, or is overly done; romance is not offensive, neither lead being an as*hole to each other; romance that isn't overly dry or has too much drama; leads may be either slightly stereotypes or codependent but at least it's cute and they are not 2d but the sides may be a little; chemistry is good and story plot is mediocre or vice versa
At best: independent badass leads where the romance is a build up of them doing their own thing and getting to know each other; solid world building; 3d characters all around; fluff that makes you happy and not bored to read; there is actually good plot; there is life beyond romance but the romance makes it nice to read too

I think it's worth waiting for the trans bc the 1/3 of end part of the book is more telling than showing, so it can get draggy, but all in all a cute fluffy entertainment book with no one overly offensive. The romance is cute enough, but the ml does get a little whipped at the end but I'll forgive it. I think with fluffy romances like this the ending is usually the weakest part.
