What you're about to see is the list of books that I enjoyed reading or at least have a good impression of, hell, it can even be my favorite list. The ranking of the list is also done intentionally so yeah I didn't just add them randomly(uhh, well, I did... sort of.) so the higher the ranking the better it is in my opinion.... more>>

Novels that actually are decent to good. Not the usual harem where the MC forget about them, or the face-slapping, restaurant fighting, no brain characters,... more>> and the like. Great novels that I've read, the top three are all must reads. The rest are in no particular order. If you were wondering why a veteran like me places LMS in top 3 its because that was my gateway to fantasy. Lord of the Mysteries is good to the level that it could be worshipped. Rankings are totally random. It's gonna be updated. It's still a new list so bear with me. Min +500 chapters translated (although there will be... more>> rare cases of some novels having a little bit less chapters). I've been reading Chinese/Korean novels for 7+ years. If you don't see the chapters don't worry, novelupdates... they don't upload unofficial translations. Use novelfull or noveltop for reading, they're anti "webnovel" web sites, or other similar websites.
"Preferably" Chaotic Neutral and Lawful Evil MCs. Male MC only. Hate IET novels except for the Stellar Transformations as it was my first novel. Hate cheap faceslapping and arrogant youngmasters. This is a forbidden territory for The Desolate Era lovers.. go away. Chinese & Korean novels only. As everyone knows, there are two different perspectives for a novel review. The true, detailed analysis and the one that is based on personal opinion. The novels on this list, are all selected after detailed analyses, not personal opinion. They all (seriously) are quality works but you might not like them. It depends on your taste. If you are tired of reading tr*sh cultivation novels then this list is made for you. I have put some novels with harem but mc in these novels are very cunning, so do not expect normal harem rather dont expectm more than 2/3 girl.

Anyways, I really enjoyed reading them to the point that I want to remove the part of my brain that remembered reading those finished books so I can relish in rereading them again and again. Argghh!! 

*Honourable mentions: Books that I have mix feelings about, it's like, hmmm, I liked it 35%-45%, and dislike it 50%. Maybe it felt bland to me in some ways, or the way they wrote didn't really give me the chance to immerse myself in their world.

There are too many novels with cliché romance and harems with annoyingly useless girls. Reading them gets extremely tiring. There are too few novels with absolutely no form of romance or harem. Here are some novels I've found to not have romance/harem or have an harem/romance theme that didn't affect the plot of the novel to the point of it being annoying. 

Feel free to recommend novels that fit the criteria, arigatou^o^

P. S. I haven't read all the novels in this list so I might not be accurate in judging them. And there are some I've read but didn't finish and the novel ended up having romance or harem elements in a later chapter, please feel free to correct me anytime you see that I wasn't accurate. most of the Novel i Read are Martial Arts, Harem, Alchemy, Shounen etc. but there are also different genre. 

Some people will like it, some people will hate it, some people will be thinking "what an idiot" or "waste of time" and yes you are absolultly right, but i really enjoyed the Novels, wayne how bad there are because it was never boring on my Nightshifts or when i was on a trip. <<less
