Preliminary review for those determining whether or not to try out, keeping in mind that I'm only at only read 7 chapters as of this review:

A Hunter is reincarnated in a historical fantasy world. MC grows up there but doesn't get his hunter abilities back, at least not right away: the system shows a "synchronization rate" which suggests they'll come back. As synchronization from his old life approaches 100%, his current life also reaches a turning point when his father heartlessly kicks out MC to fend for himself in order... more>> to solidify his own power with his new family.

It seems to be setting up a "wronged son with sh*t family basically gets abandoned but uses his unique knowledge/abilities to exploit the seemingly useless resources he has in order to become successful and show everyone up" kind of plot. MC is likeable and not immediately obviously flat as a character. While he isn't quite OP yet he's effortlessly good at most things, so there's the risk of him becoming boring to some readers. But the plot and setting are promising and I like it so far. Tentative 4/5

Update: Read up to chapter 21 - the story is written simply, solving conflicts without complicating the situation much and skipping long periods of time to show how the MC's territory develops. The writing quality isn't the best (though the obviously MTL'd translation could be affecting that a little), and the pace is a little bit too fast. Character writing and the relationships between characters isn't very detailed either, and the pace is only speeding up as of these recent chapters.

However, that means a lot of tedious minutia and times where nothing is happening is skipped; since the last 10 chapters have been territory development, this quick pace means that the plot is actually progressing while also showing enough that readers know what specific things are happening and not just giving vague descriptions. It's also possible that the pace will slow down and speed up as needed depending on what's going on in the plot. For instance, after the MC establishes himself the focus could shift and mean that his interpersonal relationships get more of the limelight as a result. But the writing is kind of simple without deep thought behind it, and I haven't read far enough into the story to see how this kind of quality holds up. Still, I'm enjoying it enough, so unless something drastically changes a 4/5 it is. <<less
