From the character depth of the MC and ML and the character development in which their initial dislike grew into fondness to the slow build up of their relationship just seems so right that there is really nothing much to say because ITS. SIMPLY. TOO. GOOD. Two characters which seemed much like the contrasting fire and ice had complemented the other regardless of their perspectives and ideals. With similar thinking, tactic understanding, despite being opposites like spring and winter, they are matched incredibly well and with each interactions the two undergoes, you can literally see the gradually rising love meter. 

Other than the storyline and characters, the author's style of writing and then way they describe the scenes could effectively and amazingly portray just how intense the photoshoot was, the emotions the MC and ML felt when in contact etc. 

This of course could not have been so well received if the translator had not be involved, with their translating skills of such proficiency that despite the change in languages, the emotions and feelings conveyed when reading were not inferior to the original.

This definitely deserves more than just a 4.4 rating.

With humour slipped with every occurring event it's a mix of feelings involved for the readers. The snippets of past history brought back to the present between the two main characters are also incredibly interesting (top tier romantic comedy with how the ML tries to involve himself into MC's life AND MC's straightforward reactions) and would have the readers dying to know what exactly happened between the two, and the extend of their past relationship. The current them, are as interesting as their past selves, and I am waiting very very very very (im)patiently for each chapter to be released and my happiness is in the hands of the fellow translators. To have merely 416 readers is under appreciating and VERY UNDERRATED. So please do give this novel a chance or at the very least put it into your to be read list as it. is. worth. it. More so, the romance is a slow burn (and is my main focus to retaliate against a reviewer who said that it wasn't as pronounced). Firstly, the underlying events and interactions of the MC and ML is obvious as to how they grow closer and end up as lovers (that is if you can see it, and you should be able to (?) From how the ML went from wanting to abstain from any form of contact whatsoever with the MC, to slowly letting the MC touches as he wishes to, to actively initiating said touches and indulging the MC, to eventually making his move. As for the MC, going from avoiding the ML, to wanting to spend more time with him, to actively wanting to get involved with the ML and worrying about him- ARENT THEY ALL OBVIOUS SIGNS. So look out at each interactive moments if you're one who's not good at reading between the lines. Even so, the plot lines requires some thought to follow along but it is incredibly satisfying when you reach the end.  <<less

The MC and ML start out as enemies with the MC being incredibly unbearable and the ML an irresponsible carefree senior. Nevertheless, the two do end up attracted to one another which is one of the best developments for school romances thus far. The way both the MC and ML realised their feelings IS SO WHOLESOME AND HAD ME CHEERING ALL THE WAY. As such, please do give this novel a chance, (and read the manhwa if you'd like because the art is incredible). <<less

The crime aspect of it is to die for with all the cases being perfectly logical. For any significant action done does indeed have a reason behind it  and is explained before the case closes. If you like the mystery and crime genre, you’ll love this that includes a serial killer/vigilante and a textbook federal agent. However, I’d liked it if there would be at least one case that is solved without external help aka Sha Qing, when it comes to figuring out the hidden agenda. The police and FBI can’t really be that useless can they? Their emotional struggles allow readers to relate to it, etching a mark in their hearts as the problems are something that even we face in the real world.  A slow-burn romance blooming between the two (reversible couple btw) and the interactions with other characters and their family, made me go through almost every emotion possible. <<less

Needless to say it's really interesting and despite the author  having quite a bit of works dabbling in the slice of life/school life genre it is not repetitive at all and each of the novels do have their own special trait. I can't say for sure what the most compelling aspect of this novel is as I haven't finished it yet, but I am certain that it would be a great read to pass time (off not now due to having only released 7 chapters but in due time).  <<less

The cases (arcs) are all incredibly thought out, going beyond just simple mu*ders and petty acts of revenge and the psychological aspect of each case was drawn out disbelievingly well (I mean, the title IS Criminal Psychology). The MC and ML delves deep into the past within the present when solving the different cases, going past the tendencies and characteristics of the suspects. Each criminal is intricate and are of different personalities who commits crime with reason of their own. At the same time, the author uses criminals who commit crimes but aren’t portrayed as despicable to the readers (meaning that you can’t HATE them despite them being the antagonist, as of arc 1 and... more>> 2). The romance is like a sub genre (maybe it seems that way because there’s only 40 chapters rn) and the novel is mainly focused on the criminal aspects (although romance is present its just not the main focus. I mean, it’s Shounen Ai not Yaoi.). This book deserves more recognition as it is severely underrated.

This novel actually gave me a bit of a chill (but maybe it’s cause I’m reading this late at night) and the characters seem interesting enough (the MC and the ex roommate have such a great friendship, always looking out for the other even if they may not be in a good situation, but idk about ML because I have no idea who he is right now). Sadly, I can’t say much as there are currently only 5 translated chapters. I feel so bad for the MC’s old roommate, getting scared like that every night QAQ.  <<less
