Gu Yanshu and Shen Jue had been at odds when they debuted in a teenage boy band. After surviving the lashing out from the whole Internet, the boy band disbanded and they two both went solo. One became a top-notch singer, the other became the film emperor, and they hadn’t been in the same picture for five whole years. Then, rumours appeared that film emperor Shen was h*mophobic and disliked Gu Yanshu, so they’d rather go the hell than meet each other again…

A cute and fluffy story focusing in clearing up understandings and finally obtaining your first love.

Our MC, Gu Yanshu is a cold and calm singer whereas our ML, Shen Jue is a award winning actor.

Everything that should have ended 7 years ago begins once more when both join a variety TV show.

... more>> Contrary to Yanshu's frosty demeanor, he is like a angry kitten when confronting big puppy Shen Jue.

Both their characterizations are well thought. Their self reflection and thoughts about one another really hurt and really shows what happens when you don't communicate. When you see how they care for each other in open or subtle ways, you cant help but feel sour in your teeth.

The one thing that I was a bit unsatisfied with was how the ending seemed rushed.

I needed a few extras of their life together because wanting peace was what Yanshu wanted and I was disappointed I didn't get to see that considering most of this story was bickering and solving their love problems.

Overall a good story to pass time.

A smart, used-to-be-poor tsundere disguised as kuudere MC coupled with rich, unscrupulous and black bellied but extremely caring ML.

Plot was actually kind of dog-blooded if author started from their past but the past already happened. It's a story about overcoming their past and straightening their misunderstanding (s).

The tone of the novel at first was kind of comedic with melancholic undertones due to their past. But after they got past the misunderstanding it's basically dog food galore. There's also some face slapping going on.

Plot and characterizations are nothing new but it's... more>> written well and everything tied up nicely. It's a cute fluffy story with happy ending. Recommended. <<less

I've always love that entertainment aus usually have this fan side reactions 'cause it's like reading my own reactions alongside theirs. So to be able to read this novel really made me happy that I wasn't the only single dog being fed dog food lmao. I guess we all know just by reading the summary that there was a misunderstanding. Still it really was quite a bit heartbreaking to read the flashbacks or so on, the regret of spending all those years living in a muddle state is so... more>> despairing but fate would always work its ways.

More than that I really appreciate not only the MC, but more especially the ml, it may seem that he was insensitive or too teasing and naughty but he's always had the mc's best interest in his heart and mind. <<less

A really cute story with a lot of bickering and misunderstandings. Both of them, really caring for each other and having sacrificed a lot for each other without even knowing about it. A lot of promises made, kept thinking in their own minds that the promises were nothing but empty promises. At the very end, they come to know that secretly, those promises they made in their teen age, has been fulfilled.

•MC is a shy and forgetful drunken kitten. Won't spoil on what he forgot because that's a very inch-resting segment of this novel. 😝

It's a heartfelt comedy for me, full of misunderstanding and an yearning for each other in both char. A shy, cold personality MC paired with a shameless, caring ML. <<less

Average in every way possible. A typical cold but actually tsundere protagonist and a confident, I'd say golden retriever-like, ML. A HE after some angst and misunderstandings.

Mmm a nice short read. I liked ML and how caring he was to MC. Their back story was rather sad and ill-fated but it's a nice HE. Most of the story spans across one variety show so it's not a long story but it nicely covers their past.

is a personal preference. I was mildly annoyed at times at how MC was too much of a tsundere (and not the cute kind, in my opinion). Maybe it's because from a reader's perspective we can see how much ML put in so felt really bad for him. But from MC perspective, is actually not really his fault for acting that way. But it decreased the pleasure of reading at certain point. But he's just really repressed. Because they do really like each other. ML had to be very determined. Like in a few other stories, is times like these where I wonder if one party likes the other more.
