The MC most definitely does not want to take advantage of the ML, and always tries to ensure that he is not always on the receiving end (basically he's fighting for their relationship to be equals because he doesn't want to keep relying/take advantage of the ML, as mentioned).  <<less

This novel revolves around mind (?)  games with elements of the popular trope (of life and death games survive and you get a wish kinda... more>> thing) but this novel is purely focused on the strategic aspect of it. There is NO action and truth to be told NO horror whatsoever (contrary to the tags) and could possibly (most likely) be boring for those who prefer action/horror packed game systems. (Basically this novel is not for everyone).  The only supernatural thing that is present is the existence of the game system and that's it. The romance is also a very very minor aspect included in this novel as it's not the main focus. Overall, recommended for readers who enjoy games like Werewolf, or mafia, like Town of Salem.  <<less

Embers is another one of such troupes and although only two chapters have been released I. AM. EXCITED. for more updates (every Saturday). Both the MC and the ML are from different worlds but similar in some ways. The MC descended from the heavens to the earth like a Phoenix and into the arms of the ML in the barren land. The best relationship ant couple can have is for their significant others to bring out the best in each other and this is exactly the kind of relationship the two has. Their very first interaction is already interesting, not to mention how much more they'll be in the future as well so look out for the weekly updates :) !! <<less

Sadly to say there are not much intimate scenes (very little kissing scene(s)) but it brings about the point that this novel’s MC and ML have a relationship so great that kissing/s*x scenes aren’t even needed to show their compatibility. It’s sweet, it’s cute, and it’s definitely worth a good read.  <<less
