The second round of the game will now begin, with this round adopting the Werewolf Game White Wolf King’s version of the game rules!

Player No. 5, Shen Mu, your identity today is the “guard”!

Once the sky darkens, please close your eyes…

Guard, please open your eyes, who is the player that you wish to guard today?

Shen Mu: Of course it’s my little cutie No. 10!

System warning! You cannot choose the same player to guard for two consecutive nights!

White Wolf King: …blast out this No. 5 affectionate love dog!

The third year amnesiac uni-student, Shen Mu, was drawn into a surreal game by an unknown force——the Suspended Life Game. Only the winner could return to the real world, and their original life, while the loser will be erased for eternity!

In the first round of the preliminary game, Shen Mu (indifferently) discovered that he was the only one of the 12 players who had amnesia (crit hitx1), not only did he draw the most troublesome killer role(crit hitx2), but he was also assigned on a team with a mentally confused foolish (little sweetie) teammate and a little girl who was still in elementary school (crit hitx3).

Yet after the preliminary game, how would the subsequent real “official game” be different, what type of crisis would it conceal?

Since the past is completely blank, life and death was uncertain for the future, then he must enjoy his current life and battle on!

This novel focused more on the survival game and the MCs circumstances rather than the romance which was a little disappointing.

The different games were brilliant however you follow along with the MCs logic and can even form your own theories while you read.

The romance wasn't really the focus and to be honest at some points I forgot there was a ML.

Overall this is a good novel in the genre and how much you'll like it depends on whether you prefer plot or romance

This is more focused on the game than the romance. The entire first arc the ML pretends to have a child like mentality where he can't talk, open doors, or even eat by himself. The MC has amnesia and a homophobic father. The second arc is the real world and it's really interesting so far.

This entire story seems to be based off the game Werewolf (or Mafia depending on the version being played) that exists as a party game irl. While it is interesting to read and slightly suspenseful to guess what the characters will do, it's not a particularly strong plot. Already the second arc seems like a mirror of the first one and if not for the suspenseful writing and good translation quality, I'd be bored. For anyone wondering, the ML doesn't seem to play a huge role in the story other... more>> than existing as the mostly off screen mysterious know-it-all thus far. Not sure if I will keep up with the updates on this one. <<less

I really like this so far. The MC seems interesting, and it's been a while since I read a story about a real werewolf game. Just, is each round just another werewolf game? Does the ML ever stop coming off as innocent and out of it? Looking forward to finding out, hopefully the author can pull this off without it getting repetitive and/or boring. I just really want to binge read this!

I think it's good so far. I've read the Werewolf Game comics and played the maliciously fun game Town of Salem, and gotta say, without the killers having to actually kill the villagers, I've lost some of my initial interest. It would've been better if the protagonist had to suffer through murder for the sake of the little girl and mentally handicapped love interest (which is another point of question. If their relationship develops, with the uke male lead's mental state, it's dubious consent. Maybe they'll clear this up before... more>> it gets to that point).

With the killer team, who we are rooting for, killing people with the press of a button, it feels too easy. In fact, I would say that
Spoiler

there's little reason to feel guilty so far, as this weak world building makes it seem questionable whether or not the people will stay dead at all, even if they lose. The person who has died so far only has the appearance of sleeping. Even if they're erased, that could mean they're erased from that world, sent back to reality. It's too soon to say, but even for a BL novel, the horror elements are too lacking so far, making it a little boring.
