The year is almost ending and we are now on our 5th part of the not-so-popular novels recommendation list. I'd say, every novels that i've... more>> touched figuratively speaking doesn't matter if its good or bad, complete or incomplete,  translated or not i will still put it in here. You find your own ways on how to find and read it. Plus we each have our own different opinions and perspective in things so my thoughts on the stories are just there to maybe guide you a little bit or something in terms of my own personal view? Often I ended up watching the drama before reading the books, which in some cases is good, some other times is actually bad as the story is more fleshed out in the drama itself.

I’m not going to give a review of the novel and/or drama it’s been adapted to, but I’m going to give a score based on how similar is the drama to the novel (and viceversa) based on what I’ve read.
⭐️ = significant changes to the story and the characters  ⭐️⭐️ = some changes to the some events in the story and the characters but main story plot is maintained ⭐️⭐️⭐️ = both the story and the characters remain true to the novel

Beware that not all novels have the satisfying groveling scenes from ML. 

I included some BE novels where I felt that the decisions MC took was very fitting even if there is no groveling from the ML or if the MC is dead to see that part. 

You’ll find most of Shui Qian Cheng’s novels who is well known for her 188cm group of novels featuring angsty novels about scum going groveling for their mistakes.

I only included the novels I was satisfied with.

Caution: Enjoy these novels, but avoid romanticizing the ML or fantasizing them as great lovers. Most of the MLs are just awful people, except for my beloved Lan Zhan, who is the epitome of kindness, Justice & all the good things. Remember, in real life, those who treat others poorly are likely to treat you the same way or mistreat you repeatedly will continue to mistreat you. Those who are controlling, manipulative, and obsessive never end with happy endings. Change in adults is difficult, even with love. Look into real-life cases of abusive partners to get a reality check.
