A fun misunderstandings genre book, centered around a society so hyper focused on magical development that they have lost a bit of common sense. The main premise being if you have no magic power, you can't be detected and can breeze through barriers meant to keep magic entities out. So far it's genuinely a fun story to read- not too complex so good for newer novel enthusiasts. At most it is a little short as a newer novel, but genuinely worth reading to pass the time like a gentle guilty... more>> pleasure one might associate with OP protagonist novels. Thanks for the read! <<less

The beginning is pretty good. An interesting premise and engaging characters. But about 2/3rds of the way through, it feels like the author decided they just needed to end it and really rushed through the last part of the story. I am glad it wasn't an interminable story, like some web novels are. But the author really just dropped all the interesting plot and forced through an ending. The ending was alright, but jarring.

Its got the normal harem problems... it's not a bad go. Kind of a fun romp, the tone shifts almost on a dime at near where I stopped.

We'll see if it manages the transition tone of the story, but the arc ends in a sort of abrupt tone shift from our protag, that doesn't feel all that earned in my mind. Its around chapter 100 you'll know it when you see it.

I think that transition really needs to be pretty pitch perfect to really keep us moving along, but I'm... more>> not sure its in harmony with the rest of the recipe.

We'll see from here on out, I'm not sure if breaking from formula will help or hurt...I wish it didn't take so long to commit to a change, and then for it to sort of feel this abrupt and while the event is decently telegraphed... the tone shift for the internal emotional state of our protag isn't.

We'll see if this settles from here eh! Kind of fun seeing them go for it. <<less
