By "good romantic story", at minimum: no bs that isn't justified or explained, or is overly done; romance is not offensive, neither lead being an as*hole to each other; romance that isn't overly dry or has too much drama; leads may be either slightly stereotypes or codependent but at least it's cute and they are not 2d but the sides may be a little; chemistry is good and story plot is mediocre or vice versa... more>>

At best: independent badass leads where the romance is a build up of them doing their own thing and getting to know each other; solid world building; 3d characters all around; fluff that makes you happy and not bored to read; there is actually good plot; there is life beyond romance but the romance makes it nice to read too

 Basically typical rebirth/transmigrated  type of protagonist betrayed by her lover and stepped upon by her half sisters seeking out for revenge and catching the attention of 7th or 9th cold aloof general like prince are filtered out from this list. Like the thing is 'revenge' is more in light than romance part which is rather bland. <<less

There is another Sci-fi novel that isn't in NU but it's really awesome and easy to understand to mtl. The setting is futuristic - ABO/Omegaverse. It's a straight couple (kinda rare in ABO universe). The plot are great and both leads are equal + with a dash of comedy which makes the story more fun to read. Only 90 chapters.
