For "manly gay couple" some characters may have traditionally feminine traits, but I consider them a "manly" couple because they do not play an ersatz "wife" role in the story. On the other hand, stories with bottoms who are outwardly masculine but play a wife role in the relationship would not be considered a "manly gay couple" in this list.

A "traditional" top-bottom dynamic is primarily defined here as one where the bottom is an ersatz traditional woman. Certain danmei-specific tropes that make a character easily identifiable as the bottom or top could also qualify.

Older brother - young brother dynamics are only considered non-traditional if the shou is also on the more masculine side / clearly does not play a wife role. <<less

☆☆☆☆☆ - A great novel that's worth reading, not a waste of your time. Great plot and characters. Will definitely reread. 

☆☆☆☆ - A good novel, with questionable but still great characters and with good plot, might reread again. 

☆☆☆ - Mediocre novel. Good for those with low standards and just wanted to increase their reading count. Okay plot and not well-developed characters. Not gonna reread again. 

☆☆ - Passable. Just meh, close to shitty, with near to no redeemable qualities. Either the way the characters were written or the plot itself. Will not reread.

☆ - Absolutely not worth your time. Will never touch again.

Couldn't find a list for this so I just created one myself. This list contains smut novels (or ordinary novels with smut) without dubious consent or non-con. And I might update everytime I come across a novel that fits the criteria, so this list is pretty tiny right now but hopefully won't remain this way forever.... more>>

Also, PLEASE let me know in the comments if you've come across more novels with car rides where both parties are willing, or if any novel here doesn't actually fit the criteria so I can remove it as soon as possible. I've read plenty of the novels here but not all of them, some were recommended through friends I just can't completely trust because they once told me that 2ha was fluffy (f*ck you Sam why did you do that to me), and others were found through manually reading reviews for any mentions of non-con so I could know whether those novels are safe to add or not. 

So, the guidance of my fellow daoists cultivating the dao of consent is much, much appreciated! I want everyone here to be comfy and happy with what they've found.  <<less

Please make sure to first check the tags on these novels before starting them though, as some of them talk about sensitive matters (Mistakenly Saving the Villain for example) 

Also, aside from Saye — which holds a special place in my heart, rest of the list isn't arranged by my personal preferences but rather the covers, as I like to keep my lists colour-coordinated. However, if you were to ask me, my favourite healthy relationships out of these would be — Saye, Mistakenly Saving the Villain, Restricted Area, Heaven Official’s Blessing, and To Rule in a Turbulent World.
