I prioritize stories with well written characters, well written plots, and not repetitive. If the story has that all but doesn't have the "cool" otherwordly feel that we all seek for in this novels, it will not be in here.

Hidden gems for me.  Searching needles in the haystack means trying to find very rare thing that you want under harsh circumstances and usually its very hard to find that. No yaoi and related stuffs.
