I enjoyed this. It was funny. There were a lot of moments that I screen captured. I would absolutely re-read this. 

This one is male female and I actually enjoyed it. It was not as dramatic as most Chinese male female romances are. It was nice... more>> to actually see a character stick to it when they said that they were leaving a bad situation and would not go back after being mistreated. They legit didn’t even go for revenge. They just completely ignored the family. I also felt bad for the original female lead because you could see that she was a product of her environment and she did not turn twisted until the very end of the book throughout the whole book I had genuine sympathy because this person just did not understand why they weren’t a good person, and it completely had to do with being spoiled and pampered and having no consequences for their actions growing up  <<less

*Update: so I just reread it again, and I had forgotten that the translation of this definitely goes downhill as the story progresses. And I also forgot how vile some of the actions of the villains are it’s so short that it’s almost like sidenotes but still vile. I would still reread it. lol <<less

I have to be in a certain mood because this book affects me mentally but I enjoyed it. I would recommend this, but I would tell people that it talks about depression. It talks about su*cide and the first half of the book is different from the second half.ML spend the entire book chasing after this guy, and when he realizes in chapter 106 that he is the person that actually caused all of the heartache and mental health problems of the main character, He goes a bit nuts with the self blame, and then even after that, he still chases after this person and tries to be the best person he can it’s a good ML. There is an explanation in the story for the actions that the male lead, took, and it has to do with the universe, not allowing him to deviate from the plot, including even his way of thinking. It’s a good book but like it’s emotional. <<less

If you could overlook the male leads toxic behavior the novels not bad I enjoyed the main character, developing her own life and finding a relationship with her brother but other than that, this wasn’t that great I actually read it twice and I still don’t know why I read it the second time but both times I’ve read the book complete start to finish. I never skipped so there’s something in here that I enjoyed I just don’t know what it is looking back. <<less

I actually finished it but there’s open plot holes as far as her original life, but the special chapters did wrap up most of the side characters, and what happened with them which was nice. There wasn’t much more they could do with it, and the extras were a little too long. I don’t actually care about their past how they met or any of that, but the little bits and pieces of their current life was perfect to wrap up the ending of the book. I might reread this. This was a genre that I didn’t know. I was missing in my life, and it filled up a void of revenge plots that I really needed.  <<less
