My career-and-plot-integration rating criteria:

1- career is a feature of the fml's backstory and/or character setup; there's no function other than a way to meet other characters or cause drama; no actual work seems to be put into it; miscomprehension of the concept of a career

2- career is said to be important/life-long passion but is not delved upon beyond the surface level; may be prominent in an arc or two but is forgotten in most other chapters; instead of a romantic subplot, it's a work subplot; unrealistic depictions of career

3- career is somewhat important in fml's daily life; is mentioned consistently throughout the story but other things hold precedence; fml occasionally puts in some hard effort; partially realistic depictions of career

4- career is very important to the fml and she works hard on it; it may at times surpass the importance of other things like romance or personal wellbeing; obvious professional knowledge is referenced; mostly accurate depictions of career <<less

I try rating the stories some time after having read it so as not to influence it with my current feelings and not be too biased. 

My ratings are out of 10 and mean the following:

1-2/10 - bad

3-4 - readable

5-6 - average

7-8 - good

These are just novels that I quite liked. They are all Chinese novels! They are in no particular order (maybe only slightly influenced by memorability or fondness, but mainly based on the time I read them) other than the first two which are my absolute favorites that are completed. I intended to only put on completed novels since I prefer reading to the end, but I found that I didn't feel like reading any completed novels and moved on to ongoing novels so there are ongoing novels at the end of the list and completed novels in the beginning. The completed novels are #1-#45 while the ongoing novels are all the rest.

As you may probably notice, I like comedic, slice-of-life novels with a female protagonist the most, but there are some exceptions that I really loved. 

(I tried to make a comment for most of these, but for some of them, I read them a long time ago, and I don't remember a lot other than I liked them, others I don't have a particular impression that made them stand out. I tend to make longer comments for the ones that are unique, I loved, or I just read and I remember a lot and I think they deserve a comment) <<less
