4.5 stars, reread this a couple of times and I did quite enjoy it. MC and mls dynamic was so fun to navigate. the plot twists, everything was pretty enjoyable. honestly so freaking cute the whole way. i know the premise sounds bad but honestly the progression was quite good and freaking adorable. I love how open and thick-faced mc(he's literally sunshine personified) is the whole time and how much he reassures the ml. Don’t even allow for them misunderstandings to take shape, let alone fester into an actual issue. good read for something with not much drama/plot, mainly just focused on relationship dynamics between mc and ml. lowkey... no highkey a wife chasing crematorium but flipped with the shou taking the lead. though i agree with other reviews that the whole story is pretty cheesy but and mc personality change going unexcused was a bit unrealistic. just so happens that i was in the mood for this kinda story ig which led me to like it so much

oh god, this almost reads as a crack novel, I went into thinking that mc was gonna be a fish spirit or like mermaid from the title. imagine the shock I felt when I realised that no. fish means fish wtfff. like they literally interact for about 70% of the novel as fish x human.... which is not something I'd every wanted to read. that being said the story and relationship dynamic between the two was honestly so wholesome that it made up for the weird parts and honestly fish mc kinda grew on me, though it does make u wonder how everyone got obsessed with a literal fish so easily haha. ml is also adorable, he's mute and you really get to see the struggle he has with certain things. my fave side character is the mls trusted servant who translates mls thoughts for everyone, he is freaking hilarious omg. that being said I just wanna say that the emperor is s*upid af. dont expect any real sort of threats to our lead but yeah overall a really cute read. oya, warning for mpreg btw, that was so random haha <<less

ML is actually a psycho like he literally does not feel (emotions or pain) cause he is a half demon and his actions are not justified by the author whatsoever by any tragic backstory or anything like that he’s just insane which is very diff from usual and a good thing imo cause lowkey sick of those excuses. In contrast, mc is very humane(not necessarily morally good, there's a bit of grey in there) providing the perfect contrast with ml. I remember liking it at the start because MC takes a very different approach once he realised his situation, of wanting to directly kill ml, the only thing holding him back was him being averse to killing in general.at one point mc starts turning into a demon with demon tattoos cause he absorbed the dragons cultivation?, when ppl found out, everyone tried to trap mc and ml in the sect but they managed to escape cause their teacher(shixiong? I forgot but he's one of my fave characters in this) let them leave at first ml thinks he’s only into mc cause of the tattoos but afterwords he realises it’s mc himself(not as sweet as it sounds cause again, ml literally has not got the ability to feel real emotions) but he understands that he feels differently towards mc and that he wants mc to himself. mc basically becomes mls control switch. <<less

THE QT novel haha. I liked it sure. was it better than most other qt I read? kind of? I liked the main stories quite a bit, side stories not so much... the plots for each arc were decently done and somewhat unique and I did kind of like mcs character but ml never really stood out to me at all, mc far outshone him but unlike others where the story/ everything else makes up fr it, this one just didn't hit as well maybe. it could also be that I had seen so much hype about this novel that going in I had high expectations. <<less

first proper interstellar story I read cause usually I used to avoid them but this one got me kinda into it. mc is op to the max and he's reborn so doubly op. ml basically ends up eating mcs soft rice which I find to be a very cute dynamic, mc is deffo the one in power in their relationship and that works. they're so very sweet for each other and I love that! og ml is freaking creepy I kid u not, every time he popped up I had to take a breather. mcs family is also shitty to the max, I didn't even know 2d characters could invoke so much hate in me. ending was pretty rushed though but not too bad overall. <<less

that being said I really enjoyed the first half of this novel. the dynamic the two of them half is A+ and so hilarious. the mls brother as well, amazing. the various acts they play out in front of mcs brother and ex, also freaking hilarious. they all need freaking oscars. unfortunately this all goes in the tr*sh once the leads finally get together at around the 80-90th chapters. I did try to read beyond that but I got intensely bored and offput especially since they kinda lost their amazingly teasing dynamic that made me love them in the first place... I did reread the first half again tho and it was enjoyable so maybe do that? haha <<less

op mc, reborn basically we see him being good at basically everything he tries.  liked it when I read it the first time cause of his strong personality and also the leads dynamics cause omg ml is freaking adorably stoic. instead of using mc out in the usual " will u go out with me" way he gives mc A. FREAKING. MERGER AND ACQUISITIONS. CONTRACT! stating his intentions for a merger with mc, with all party A and B sh*t like when I tell u I dropped my phone n my face when that popped up... overall an okay read if u like op, confident protagonists, no real struggles. the diff plots for the movies that mc acts in were pretty intriguing, albeit a bit patriotic. the revelation abt the past lives was pretty sad tho. <<less
