Not terrible, but has enough little details that irk me thst I'm dropping it. Maybe when 50+ chapters have been translated I'll read a few of the latest ones to see if it gets better.

This is just an example: It's very obvious that the original Zheng Shu that the MC possess is being used by his family and that no one really cares about him. His marriage with the ML was arranged regardless of what he or ML wanted, and there was never any love there. The guy he was... more>> having an affair with never liked him either, using him to get benefits from other Zeng family members. If MC had played the pity card and pretended that he as "Zheng Shu" had a realization if he divorced the ML then he would really have no one on his side and that he would probably meet a miserable end knowing the kind of people his family members were, and that he should treat ML better because at least he isn't using him like a tool and as marriage partners are at least nominally allies even if they don't like each other, then his sudden change of heart would have been believable. A different but similar tactic also could have worked. Pity card is usually the obvious choice when you want people to at least hear you out and give you a chance, and MC has the knowledge to be able to implement it. That isn't what happens.

Instead the rest of the characters find that "Zheng Shu" has undergone a sudden complete personality change and immediately become suspicious. ML genuinely agrees with divorcing because he can no longer stand Zheng Shu - if MC wanted him to be on his side, playing the pity card would at least make him less antagonistic and suspicious. Instead MC suddenly starts acting like a "good husband" which ML *hates* because wtf is this idiot think he's doing? The ML, who the MC is trying to win over, becomes even less trusting and less tolerant of him than before. If this was a sign of MC's genuine s*upid character trait that would be one thing, but MC's intelligence is kind of all over the place, from very smart to "why". <<less

It's very enjoyable!

Started this novel because I wanted to read an easygoing, fun, modern-love story. And the synopsis proves true, that's what I got. MC is funny and tries so hard, like he has a little crush on ML. I also love how the author fleshes out the side characters like ML's assistants, MC's friend, and the original protagonists. Additionally, something very subtle that I loved was the author's mention of "men and women" in the business world. For ex. MC's team of lawyers were "men and women" and ML... more>> has 2 assistants, one male one female (Feng Jie & Emma, I remember their names as well!). When ML was at a meeting too, it was "well dressed men and women in business outfits." It was just kind of nice seeing gender equality in the business world, even if it was just a one word adjective describing a group of people lol

Regarding all the more negative comments, it's really not that deep man. MC's personality and actions revolves around "the original owner is s*upid, s*upid" and he tries to make it up to the ML. And he does this by trying to clean up the OG owner's past messes & acting sweet.

Novel was fun to read, I enjoyed it! <<less

This is a Gem, MC transmigrated and landed in a novel cannon fodder's body. The previous owner was a scum who didn't appreciate ML. MC replace him and started his wife chasing journey, use all sort of care and skills to melt MC's cold heart.

I enjoy their everyday conversations, I enjoy how ML slowly transform from a cold and unfeeling person, we can see the transformation slowly step by step and it was nicely build structural transformation. I love them both alot they are perfect for each other. Alot of... more>> fluff and MC is such a Sunny gem, he brightens the room and he can straight up say all these love speeches without blushing.

Main thing is MC has alot of money and he used money to slap faces and ML is so pampering his use his power to squash those bugs that come close.

All the relative are just trouble making causing greedy scumbags. I really don't see why the bias happens like prefer this son over that one stuff like. Rich family are so annoying in this aspect.

The transmigrated novel gong and shou meh forget about them they are plain boring.

Also screw those women abusing scumbags, there alot in this novel.

Three cheers to MC and ML for making the novel so enjoyable. <<less

It was really Nice Novel so far!!!

So far how our main protagonist or other supporting characters portrayed, was refreshing!

Our ML seems Cold, but not the usual Cold COLD President. He still want to help MC. Especially since MC really show his dedication to show he's 'back to the right path'.

... more>> MC's Friend, still a good friend, flawed, but nothing cross the line nor annoying so far.

And the supposed OG!Gong and OG!Shou so far, still barely shown though, but doesn't seems evil. Hope they're really a good person here.

Love how MC while 'Lazy', but the relatable kind of 'Lazy'. Lazy to do thing that he doesn't understand, but excited to do things he would like to do (putting bad people down. Lol). He's not a badass, just do his best with the resources he has. So far I Love both his characteristics and ML's!

Anyway I pray so hard the rest of the story is as good!!! 🙏🙏🙏

When they're finally in Dating pace... They keep throwing Sugar everywhere!!! SUGAR OVERLOAD!!! THEY'RE SOOOOOOOO SWEEEET!!!

Our MC also became a Cutie Infront of ML. He truly Love to act coquettish toward him. He keep building up ML's desire!!! 🔥

Anyway I also love how the OG!Protagonists is not Evil or Villain in here. Especially the OG!Gong being important character who work together with ML and also his relative.

Truly Love the progress. I hope the rest of the story is as Great!!!

At first, I found that the novel was a little boring and rated it 4. But for some reason it became more interesting later on, and I was really hooked. It's especially interesting to read how the iceberg (ML) melts.

2.5 rounded up bc I'm being nice. I echo another review in the sense that although I technically can enjoy this novel for the fluffball romance that it is, albeit incredibly cheesy, the suspension of disbelief you NEED to have to enjoy this is a lot for the MC's complete personality change, esp BC HE IS SO BOTTOM HEAVY CHEESY NOW.

Nothing wrong with bottoms or flexes, but the fact is the original MC was most definitely not close to acting like either of that, yet although the surrounding characters may... more>> not believe / trust in his personality change, NO ONE NOT A ONE is truly suspicious or bothered by the 180° change in personality. The details are not enough to convince and the change is too incredible. And it's worse bc if the ML is supposed to be smart, the fact he doesn't question the MC truly adds to the necessity in a suspension of disbelief to enjoy this.

Idk. I mean I guess I didn't really know the original MC too well, but as you read on, he gets more cheesy and it's difficult to compute if this literally doesn't seems weird for anyone (??) Tbh, I'm reading this for the side couple. The fluff of the main couple doesn't have enough depth for me esp bc of the personality difference and cheesiness lol but still ok. The side couple (book protagonists) is so charming (and feels like there's a sense of real logical progression) esp if it won't be as dogblood since the MC won't be in the way. Too bad we don't see them that often though. <<less

Dropped.

The novel started off cute. I enjoyed the chasing, how the emotions changed, so on.

BUT it became a bit boring after 50-60 chapters, by the time I reached chapter 70+ I was too tired to continue it.

It's not a great novel. I read it to pass time after I was done with work or during weekends, so for that purpose it was enjoyable until it stopped being. I do think that some might like it to the end still.

Easy, fluffy read that I enjoyed so far. I am just not that into it to mess with MTL, but if it's ever translated I would pick it back up.

I do feel bad for the MC being thrown into such a messy life, bit a big fan of the MC having to fix the originals past sins. If I was the ML I wouldn't bother with him no matter how much he says he changed, sounds like a scum man's excuse.

One part I didn't like is the cruise part. I thought it was weird MC just left on the dandy cruise while trying to fix his relationship with ML. It's a longer cruise too, not just a cruise around the harbor. Seemed weird, but maybe it would be more clear if it was translated. <<less
