I was very wrong with my initial impression of this, I ended up MTLing and I didn't expect it to be that short (or idk, I only MTLed 92 chapters idk why NU says there are more). It's basically an age progression novel, from birth to I won't say because I expected something else so it might be a spoiler. I'm just a bit unsatisfied with the length of the novel, but still it was fun, the characters were cute and their relationship was adorable I just think it could've gone on for longer. The thing is that it is quite fast paced, which I originally liked but there's potential to add more things to... more>> the novel. But still, the pacing was refreshing, there wasn't time wasted, they would wrap up with school years and stuff like that pretty quickly just adding the necessary things, no filler or unnecessary drama, but sometimes that's kind of what you want. I'm just conflicted about how to feel about the length because at least this novel never had me bored, there are other novels where the relationship is confirmed and you get tired after that because there's kind of no point, this one knew to when to stop. I still would've loved some extras, I was really looking forward to them having a lot of cute romantic scenes. At least the romance was satisfying, not like those "romance" novels where they barely leave it up to the viewer and don't even kiss or something (yes I'm talking about the novel below this one, and many others). The romance is good, there were never adult scenes but their relationship still felt intimate, I just wish it would’ve lasted longer but the author was really concise by adding just enough and just keeping the story until the relationship was solid and recognized by everyone. Anyway, since the novel is this short and there's a fair amount of time skips and there's not much angst where you need to read the next chapter since time is often passing between chapters then I'd recommend to read the translation instead, plus the translation is quite fast. 

I don't want to spoil anything but I liked their careers, very refreshing instead of the typical CEO/showbiz careers. It was also a relaxing worry free novel, they came from affluent families and lived their nice lives with their super talents, it's cute I guess, an ideal life I guess. <<less

So I’ve finished this, the reviews are too harsh imo, the translation is perfectly fine, there are some mistakes but it’s still quite readable. The characters aren’t hard to sympathize with either, at least I personally did get my eyes moist at times. That’s like fixing a bullet wound with washi tape. Most of the novel she just talked about picking up tr*sh and then separating it between wet, dry and harmful? Weird separation and I thought maybe that’s a mistranslation of organic matter/recyclable/regular tr*sh but then it didn’t appear to be, alright… from a quick google that’s not even how separating tr*sh in china seems to work but I’ll let that pass, maybe things just work that much differently in China and I couldn’t find it. My issue is how she’s painted as the biggest environmental protector and all she’s doing is promoting picking up tr*sh and separating it! All while still consuming snacks wrapper in plastic (and at that point she didn’t even need to eat human food so). At some point they finally mentioned the issues with coal but they just mentioned that’s how the sea got super contaminated, they cleaned it up which is great but the issue is still there. She also only mentioned the harm of gas once when the driver drove the couple around in circles while they kissed because he didn’t want to interrupt them but that was the only time it was mentioned. She just scolded him and deducted the gas prices from his salary. They saw a whale with a big fishing net that had killed it but chapters later she still went and ate a whole sushi restaurant? Make it make sense! It’s as if the author just randomly decided to pick environment protection as a theme without looking up the issues. If her rich people school could form a club with hundreds of people that cleaned up the tr*sh at school shouldn’t you look at the root cause? Sending tr*sh to be incinerated instead of it laying around in school grounds is still way worse than the existence in itself of that tr*sh. And she could’ve at least promoted composting! What’s the point of taking the nutrients from soil and burning them or letting them rot in a landfill wrapped in plastic generating methane. I’m glad someone decided to touch the environmental topic but it just seems like the propaganda big oil/plastic companies push about how recycling is the solution, it’s not, all of that is promoted by those companies so people don’t see an issue with consuming those products. Picking up tr*sh is nice, but it’s like focusing on avoiding straws and making a whole career about protecting the environment just with that when there are way worse things that she could’ve talked about, except this time it’s as if she didn’t even avoid using that, she just focused on separating it. She made plenty of touching speeches just about… picking up and separating tr*sh? Not even about recycling lmfao, just… not littering and separating it. I guess she also helped the air quality tho but that’s because as a ghost that was her food source. Like that’s nice but that’s just fantasy, if you take away the fantasy way of cleansing the environment she ended up doing worse with all of those intercontinental trips and consumption habits, just saying… 

I don’t want to virtue signal but I just don’t like misinformation like this, separating tr*sh and recycling won’t save us, a lot of what we use isn’t even recyclable. Plastic is barely recyclable, only some types can get more easily recycled and only about 3 times, then the quality is too low to be used again. Also, it’s just ridiculous how she gets hyped up for protecting the environment, even Billie Eilish is promoting better initiatives and her main profession isn’t being an environmental activist. Would’ve been nice if the MC turned the entertainment industry into something more sustainable but it was all kept separate and you can’t keep sustainability apart from other carbon intensive activities and then get painted as the most eco conscious person ever. This novel just has so much wasted potential, it’s not that I want to turn it into a textbook, but I already had to read so much about picking up tr*sh on this novel but it was just so superficial and straight up fluff, might as well have kept it short.  <<less

Fun, I MTLed a good chunk but I’m tired, I’ll just wait until this is fully translated. But it’s fun, it reminds me of apocalypse lord. The MC has a big advantage but she still feels realistic (like most of the time she’s not using her OP equipment to stay lowkey so during fights she still gets hurt and she doesn’t feel overpowered), their values also seem pretty humane too, like they start changing but they show the process of how they ended up in a way instead of being like that from the beginning. A pretty important part…) and there are many mistakes with pronouns, it’d be acceptable if they confused he/she/they, but they keep confusing I with She? Like people will talk about the MC but say it in the 1st person, it’s so confusing, I don’t even know how they even got that (after reading some MTL, the MTL is much harder to read haha so I'll still read the translation). Also, sometimes the nouns are switched, even if one isn’t a pronoun. It’s already happened multiple times. Besides that it seems like a fun read, it’s an easy comedic fun read, it’s my type. <<less
