Cant really recommend it.

Starts off good, the MC has guts and persistence, but the moment the heroine seems to start getting interested (1 chapter later) the MC's personality completely flips over and he directly turns in to a typical Japanese beta herbivore male.

Stuttering, angsty, zero confidence (when he had the confidence to ignore the entire school not even one chapter ago, suddenly he keeps questioning and doubting and basically being an absolute coward), presumably to create drama in the story.

Despite proclaiming true love, the MC also suddenly feels disillusioned when... more>> it reveals that the heroine is not the perfect Japanese nadeshiko, showing that he is really only into her looks. Even worse is that despite his inner monologue, he does not have the balls to openly reject her and just keeps folding like a wet paper towel, so he can only continuously complain in his own mind for the "benefit" of the readers, though it really just makes me want to slap the guy and tell him to grow a spine. This notably ties in to my last point, the Beta herbivore MC is practically incapable of having a spine, we already knew it. But the author over does it so badly, that the story only lasts 47 chapters.

Me personally? I did not like this. So why a 4? Because I need to be objective.

The reason I didn't like it because I was spoiled by other stories and expected fluff and some possessiveness and overprotectiveness when I saw yandere but yandere and the psychological tag should have told me what was happening.

The reason I have to give a 4 despite not liking it is that it's a textbook yandere story and even tho it's unsettling the development makes sense. He fell for her first, pursued her relentlessly and... more>> after time got what he wanted but what he got was a yandere slowly but surely keeping him all for herself.

No horror, no drama but it is a yandere and she changed him to her liking slowly and although its not what I wanted and he was passive I cannot say he was a beta MC in fact he was brave and not dense and proactive but he couldn't beat a yandere in love and got subdued and it makes sense. <<less
