And I even also could imagine the story of this novel as a cliche overbearing CEO (or in this case, a department leader) novel from the perspective of mob character. I mean, MC is very much a mob chara who fed up watching the dog-blood drama happened in his workplace. He just wanted to work in peace, but all that Alpha-Omega nonsense (rut, heat, office s*xual harrasment, dog-blood drama between a wife and his mother-in-law, cheating husband, etc) made him always to contemplate into resigning and yeet away to Hawaii (but unfortunately he can't... more>> do that yet, because he's still a poor office worker). And like it isn't enough, the Alphas thought of him as an Omega, and the Omegas thought of him as an Alpha, and they tried to court him. For you who want a refreshing story, I recommend this novel).

At first, I don't have any expectation from this novel, and thought that I would read a cliche romance story, but it's not like that at all! The story is very good, the plot flow naturally and never feels forced at all, no exageration (maybe there are exageration about MC's and ML's features, but it's not talked so often like other romance c-novels), no unnecessary misunderstanding (seriously, everytime there's a misunderstanding, MC immediately asked the person to explain, and he's very understanding), the romance also progressed very smooth and like the plot, it never feels... more>> forced at all. Unfortunately, the antagonist characterization is so s*upid (I mean, I understand that they didn't want anyone to know that MC is their family member and also didn't want to recognize MC as their family, but they should've just ignore him and pretend he doesn't exist, by bullying MC to that point, they instead make their rivals/enemies wonder why the family using their power to suppress this one insignificant artist. Moreover, the MC himself didn't put them in his eyes at all, he practically ignore them except when what they did to him detrimental for his interest), and the ending is so abrupt and there's no side story about MC's and ML's life after the wedding).

BL. I give it 5 stars for the story and the plot (You don't know how many times I've been made very frustated by ML. I mean, look, ML and MC eat together, sleep together in one bed, doing everything together, shopping together, wearing couple outfits, hugging each other (Heck, ML using every chance he gets to hug MC, to the point in the borderline of s*xual harassment), bathing together, jerking each other, sniffing MC and MC's clothes at the very chance he got, preventing MC to date with other people (men and women alike), doesn't want MC marry with someone else, wanting to be with MC forever and ever, and ML still got the... more>> nerve to saying that they're just best friend, just bros. Yes, I know ML is a homophobe and he always feels disgust towards gay people, but can't he see that what he's doing to MC is not normal best friend behavior? He's very fortunate that MC loves him so much (yes, MC was made bent by ML, he has actually already loved ML since long ago), or MC would've already run very far away from him long ago. Even their parents thought that they've long been together, and has already prepared themselves for the coming out speech. The story is very good, and there's decent character development (about ML. Seriously, it's very ridiculous on how easy for him to accept his gay side when he realized (after so many frustating chapters) that he actually gay on MC. Like, his reaction is the kind of I-hate-gays-but-if-it's-me-and-him-then-why-not?), and the flow of the relationship between MC and ML is very natural and not feels forced at all. All in all, I very much recommend this novel.)

Yes, the idea is very interesting, and the scenes are also interesting, but how it's been written is bad, like a beginner writer wrote it. The scenes who should've been interesting felt very bland, the scenes of conflict become more like cliche dog-blood drama, the romance felt forced and tasteless. You don't know how many time I considered to drop this novel, BUT fortunately I didn't do it, because the writing style become more and more refined as the story goes to the point the fight scenes become so epic.
