I mean, which Beta will carry an expensive suppressant around just because he wants to help an Omega and get out of work on time lol when needed? Who will sincerely tell his manager to divorce when he gets bullied mentally by his Alpha, in the world that "Alpha has the right to hit Omega"? Who is willing to take an Omega he just knew not long ago to sleep over at his house because that Omega has a stalker? He is just a tsundere, the kind who says that he doesn't care at all but is actually very caring.

The ML is the alpha director who's been in love with him since the start! ;) He starts out as being pretty pushy but he really does care for the MC regardless of his gender and is super sweet to him.

seriously confessing love to your friend on your doorstep while you're thinking of getting together with the ML moments ago. What an arse. Waste of space human tr*sh.

e.g. When the MC is paying for his and another person's drinks, he suddenly starts thinking about his sister (who has never been mentioned until this point) and how she only talks to him when she wants to borrow money (she's still in school). And then he proceeds to think about how she hasn't talked to him in a while and gets worried. This thought pattern consisted of 2-3 paragraphs before he finally remembers what he's doing and resumes the story. This scene was quite entertaining for me though.

MC lived his entire life with a no dating alphas or omegas policy. He realizes near the end that he created this arbitrary policy because he was actually in love with his best friend and wanted a catchall reason to justify never confessing his feelings. He only comes to this realization because he's trying to process the fact that he's attracted to ML (the director) and acknowledges that the feelings he had for the ML aren't the first time he's felt this way.

The only difference is that he's older and more mature now to take the risk of being vulnerable and obtaining his own happiness. He confesses to his best friend that he "loved" him. The past tense is important. He used to love him but states the feeling is no longer romantic but wholly platonic. The best friend admits he felt the same and the acknowledge that they were both cowards to never confess and wait for the other to confess first, even though they both knew the feeling was mutual. Neither wanted to take the steps to change their relationship in fear of ruining a friendship.

Also, MC was the one who told the best friend "we shouldn't do anything we will regret." It's a poignant moment where two adults have a frank and honest discussion of their feelings so they can both move past them and be better people. It also helps MC grow enough to confess to ML because he used to think “I would change my dating policy for [best friend] if you acted first” but now he's realized that he can’t live with that mindset anymore so he 1. Realized he didn’t want to date his best friend anymore, 2. Wants to change his dating policy for ML, and 3. Confess.

We only see second ML (if it can be called like that) for a few chapters and then it disappears?. ML is your typical A so honestly it wasn't that exciting, but definitely not like I was expecting him to be.

I would have (sort of) preferred if MC ended up with his friend, I found them to have more chemistry (story wise and their whole relationship) than the main couple, then again, these are just my thoughts.

recent chapter got him admitting that he liked his childhood friend. I have a feeling that he did, since he kept dropping hints about it when drunk but seeing all of those suppressed feeling broke because of his sister feels so good.

Kido is a person who respects MC and I think MC came to Kido instead of ML because they just feel comfortable around each other for a long time, Kido knew the gravity of the problem with his sister. They love each other but then, MC thought alpha and beta can't be together and adapt those thinking to draw a line between them. His misconception got shattered when his boss came bulldozing those views and he realized that it's all his own thinking, that it's normal to feel that way. He might not be able to love Kido as much as ML anymore but the feeling WAS there and he admitted it, effectively finishing his unresolved feeling. This is why I don't get mad when MC seek comfort from Kido this one time.
