Everything is shrouded in mystery and even MC can't really tell the story because he's also hidden from the truth by an amazing actor. This novel certainly made me change my opinion of someone (a side chara) very fast and I found that fascinating haha. A story of love between two unhinged people! MC really seemed like a positive guy but why does he throw away his moral compass with ML wth... I really wondered how a mess of a relationship could be HE but it actually happened! It's such a lovely story; our MC just died and became a ghost before his wedding. He sees the grief of those close to him during this period and there are also a bunch of flashbacks with our CP. ML is the passionate doggy-like lover whereas MC is the cool type who accommodates ML. They are so so so sweet together and the fact that now they are separated by death is so sad. This story is tagged BE! I'll be honest, based on my standards, I considered this a bittersweet ending. Then I consulted some friends and they told me it's hella BE... Anyway, this story made me cry but it's also cute. Just a rollercoaster of emotions.

ML gives MC a feeling of life despite ML being uh very morally questionable. ML is the 4th prince but he's first in line to the throne. As such, his siblings all want to kill him but he finds the threat entertaining... Um wow ML. MC appears to be his new obsession and they're surprisingly somewhat cute together? They just enjoy each other's company so much! Good for them! Of course, how will they solve these power struggle royalty whatever drama!! I really like how the story is written and how I can't really hate most charas (screw MC's parents though). It's told from their present situation but it's peppered with short flashbacks which is pretty nice because having long flashbacks can be a little tiring to read. The emotions between our two characters just moved me so much that I cried lol. Translator said this is fluff with barely any angst so why did I cry??? It's sweet though... MC's character development was so beautiful. Love after marriage is a trope I have a thing for!!! It's just a matter of me liking the tropes but it's not exactly something I 100% love... There's of course drama due to MC's mother not wanting him to get together with ML but the ending is happy! Pretty cute. I was expecting action or drama or plot twists but it surprisingly didn't happen. In a way, that made it more refreshing because the genre didn't suddenly change. (Bai Lang & Qiu Qian) With the high ratings, I didn't read it until now because the plot sounded angsty haha. I mean, first chapter certainly wasn't happy but it was so heartwarming in the chapters not long after. I think the introduction of ML's ultra adorable son helped with that! MC dies due to several betrayals from the people he cared for and a heart problem. He ends up going back to the past... 10 years before his death... MC also knows that the only person who mourned his death was the rich boss who wanted to uh keep MC lol. As such, he decides to become his kept person in this life until... more>> he doesn't want him anymore. ML is not a completely good person and MC is clearly aware of that even when he fell in love with him. 

The story does not drag but it doesn't feel rushed. MC slowly begins to be able to love again and this couple really communicated with each other! They're both very proactive in their relationship as well which is great! It's true that I kinda wish I got to see how ML liked the MC that much though. Other than that, the second half of the story was a bit disappointing. This story starts with MC and ML going papapa a lot but the next half I mostly heard papapa from ML face slapping all the villains. The story mainly focused on getting revenge at that point hahaha. There’s something about this novel that is just so… peaceful yet also a little painful at times. The atmosphere just feels breezy in a way? I just really like the way it’s written! It's written in such a light-hearted way but you can tell from the small details that MC definitely is downplaying his past. It's such a good story!! I really really wish there were more chapters!!!
