Zhiyue is a programmer who is passionate about games so there will be mentions of video games here and there. Due to his transmigration, we see him dissociating like yes?? I like that. Huo Ran is surprisingly very cute and youthful yet very attentive. Because of this, there are barely any misunderstandings and he’s always considerate. He’s seriously the best for him. I think that I’m officially a fan of this author after reading 3 of their works. The plot is cliche but they have a way of making it a little special and different. One is even seemingly the cold, quiet type while the other the more confident young master. What was even more surprising was how I liked the story more after they got together rather than before they did. With their dynamic, I thought Juexia would be the more passive but they’re both just so romantic and love each other (especially Tingsong wth). Kaleido as a group was very memorable too and their audio drama songs are awesome. Although there were some parts that I thought were redundant or wordy, I enjoyed this story a lot by the end. So yes, it's basically about these two people who have been hurt by each other due to the gong's misunderstanding and the circumstances they faced. His redemption arc was really wow. Now that is really being in pain yeah! In that sense, you may gain satisfaction from this story haha. Basically, don't expect anything which makes a lot of sense. The two of them really consider a lot when it comes to this pregnancy. Not just how society would view them but also the medical danger of this. These cases have happened before but often in tragedy with either the parent of child dying. So we get mpreg angst!! These people are doctors in the field too. They know what they're up for. Oh god I wish they would stop reminding me about journal article writing though lmao. Also, I disliked the parts which were... weirdly nationalistic. Overall, it's still an enjoyable story! The plot itself didn't have enough oomph to me to make it ultra memorable but it was quite easy to read. I definitely love CP who are the highlight of the novel but I wish I got more side chara screentime. It's relatively simple yet if you try to deep dive, you can find a lot of heavy messages. For one, it's about the love about two enemies. With only each other, they live together or more like our human Jiayun cannot live without this alien. They exchange idealogies, share intimate pleasures, learn from each other... Their love is really beautiful and I can't articulatemy feelings well. The point is, I was hit with a full blast of amazement by the end.
