One of my absolute favorites. Both the MC and ML are soooo lovely and equals (!!!) which you don't see very often in BL.

He naturally does lack in the strength department ..after being poisoned and falling off a cliff.. expecting him to recover so quickly is just not realistic at all. The ML dragging the MC into dangerous situations and forcing him to fight even though he knows MC isn't in the physical state to do so damages his body even further.  <<less

The beginning is a little slow but It gets so good after. Every chapter had me at the edge of my seat.! 

This novel really has everything my heart desires: good translation, smart and charming MC and ML and It's packed with mystery. Definitely one of my all time faves. 

Some cases they're solving contain detailed and mildly gory descriptions of mu*der and corpses. I personally adore the horror genre so It's a win for me!~ just a little warning for more squeamish readers! ^-^

It got very slow at times but I couldn't bring myself to drop it. The plot and the characters had me hooked I had to know what happens next lol. I'm glad I stayed. It was such a nice journey!!
