This novel is just 20 chapters long tho but in the chapter I'm currently in, it didn't have that plot twisting event yet so you guys can still go and read it before it does.. Short cute fluff. The more accurate synopsis should have been:

"This is the story between a Lord who is an accidental tease that doesn't know he's practically married, and a strong dragon who is happy to be teased day in and day out."

Very typical plot and nothing unexpected, but sweet nonetheless.

A story about a doesn't-realize-he's-being-a-flirt LORD and a can't-help-but-fall-into-the-deep-end DRAGON.

As a short story, this novel deserves a 5/5 imho. It's definitely fast paced with just the right amount of details and dialogue. So if you want a story with in-depth characterization, epic battles, NSFW scenes, lines and lines of dialogue, you get the idea -- this is not for you. But if you are in it for the sugar, suspense, quickly resolved angst (even the author addresses this), subtle hints (leaving some things to your imagination), plot twists, DRAGONS, believable... more>> fantasy world and story progression, then stop reading this review NOW and go read the story!

I love this! This novel was amazing!!!

It has so much fluff... and even though there is slight angst, you know that everything will be alright in the end.

The author definitely doesn't know how to cook though... Too much sugar!

Omg this is very cute! I cried and laughed along the story. It's not too short or too long so I think the plot is just perfect.

Now I really wish I had a dragon companion too ?

I feel like I was deceived by the comments. Sure this is a sweet story but only for the first couple of chapters and then quickly becomes a typical Chinese domination story which is a lot for only 20 chapters.

But the moment his dragon friend starts to help him guess what he does? Invading and looting other territories one after another. Lots of people died? Who cares because my dragon friend is fine.

This really felt like I was reading an old-time fairytale. Most of the background plot is told to you rather than character-experienced (though there are some moments the character's involvement will allow the reader to observe the plot). The interactions of the main couple was the focal point of the story and their interactions were very cute ^^ So much fluff!

God damn, the fluff here is sickeningly sweet.

It's a novel that's relatively simple (and it kinda lacks depth tbh, but what can you do for short ass stories like these ones), for a BL genre it's short and well written enough for any fujoshi to enjoy.

The description of this novel definitely hooked me but the human lord is actually naive and didn't intentionally teased the dragon. If you're looking for angst, in-depth characterization, epic fight scenes and the likes, then this is not for you. This is just a simple fairytale like story, BL edition of course. If you have spare time or waiting for your another favorite novel updates and just wanted to take a break, then try this one. Overall story is fluffy nothing more nothing less.

This is a very well crafted story. It is a short story so there is a limit on world building and such but it in no way obstructs the story.

What had to be explained had been explained so as to not hinder the understanding of the story.

The relationship between the protagonists is natural and very emotional. This is a short story that hits you right in the feels.

This story has everything... it’s a sweet romance with some sad elements. Magic, war, drama and a dragon. Need I say more?

  • The MC is a sensitive person, but not the annoying kind. He's so cute omg and loves his dragon so much! He knows his weakness and asks for the ML's help for the war business. Together they become a "power couple".
  • The ML is a liiiiittle tsun-tsun (just a little really, not being sarcastic). He is devoted and very caring to the MC.
  • Written in first person perspective
  • Western creatures (dwarves, mermaids, elves, fairies, demi-gods) are mentionned. Even the names of the characters aren't chinese (MC = Adam).
  • s*x scenes are mentionned but not in details

A very sweet and fluffy bl story!

Summary: One day, a young lord saves a dragon, and together, they conquer the lands! From epic battles that gets your blood pumping to emotional reunions that tug at your heartstrings, this story is like no other!

This is such a cute and fluffy story! My only real complaint is probably how it was skipped through so quickly, but considering the circumstances (writing another novel; this was just a short break), it's really good! It's certainly not the best BL I've read, because I generally enjoy longer ones with more spread-out and slow character development, but once again due to the circumstances and the fact that it's a short story, it makes sense.
