Sorted roughly from most obsessive to least obsessive (I used to have a bias for QT novels, though). Favorite to least favorite where I couldn't decide. Male Yandere Male Lead - An important character (usually the ML) is yandere

Male Yandere Side Character - The yandere is only a supporting character and/or may only appear for a short part of the story. If the novel doesn't have a yandere tag at all then it probably means the yandere plays a very minor role.

Possessive Male Lead - Perhaps not quite a yandere but does show signs of possessiveness

Not Enough Chapters - Too early in the novel to tell / character hasn't demonstrated yandere traits yet but it's tagged under Male Yandere <<less

I have a soft spot for strong MCs, unusual relationship dynamics, plotty action, and a well-developed side character cast. I tend to prefer feel-good stories over dark, overly complex ones. These stories don't have everything I like, but they're all great for at least one aspect. 4/5 = like it, 5/5 = love it! MXTX novels not included because they are classics.

Ranking based on:

Plot- Whether plot makes sense, and foreshadowing is given closure. All around just entertaining, and doesn't feel like a chore to read.

Characters- If the characters are fu cking tr*sh, the novel is tr*sh, 'nough said.

Translation quality- Many idioms in chinese novels tend to fly over people's head. And if the translator doesn't have an apt website, I will also find it a hassle to read. <<less
