This book had a really strong start, I enjoyed it. However, it started to change and got less interesting as it went on. Then it had a very dissatisfying abrupt ending so even though it was a happy ending, I didn’t like it. I would not re-read this. <<less

If I read a story like this, I’m reading it because I like the fact that the MC is playing different person. I don’t want to read it from the original characters POV I want to read it from the MC‘s POV (Everybody Knows I’m a Good Person is a good example of where the MC is playing and character but you get to hear the MC thoughts while he’s still in character). Seriously after the first two arcs you could almost just skip and read the first three chapters of any New World in the last three chapters Skip everything in the middle because it’s the same thing over and over again. And this was definitely a case of telling, not showing as far as the main character being intelligent. He never felt smart to me. <<less

Updated: so I totally forgot this was on this list and I read it. I did complete it however it was so repetitive. I enjoyed it more this time. And I think the author did a really good job of showing how willing the MC was to do whatever the ML wanted to do. And as much as I enjoyed this, it just went on for a bit too long and it wouldn’t be worth the effort to ever reread this. I think of each of the arcs or the fairytale powers were a little bit shorter. It’d be easier because some of them are definitely better than others, but it just gets a bit old after a while. Also, I really wanted an extra where the MC‘s parents meet the ML and we get to see the interactions. I don’t understand why we couldn’t get that.  <<less

I mean, this is definitely cute, but for some reason it wasn’t grabbing me as much as other cutesy ones do. I did enjoyed it. I’m still just not sure if I want to reread this or not.
