it was kinda repeatedly and 'explicitly' implied that the MC and the original MQ was actually the same person, something like having the same taste, same habits, just different ways of responding to problems, which I thought, that might be because the 'original' MQ grew spoiled, so no deep thinking and a bit coward was not that strange, while our MC, he grew within intricacies of showbiz, and emerged as the successful one, even. So it's to be expected to be crafty.

Also, with how ML was already had a crush on 'original' MQ, I thought this was the strongest signal telling that 'original' MQ and MC is the same person.

but again, this plot was wasted by how fast the ML accepted and calmly accepted the fact that his crush was gone when MC confessed that he's not the 'original' MQ.. without any visible nor hinted deep mourn, as if he doesn't care. That kind of response would be okay if it was hinted in the middle of story or even some chapters before the MC confession that he somehow realized they couldn't possibly be the same person and had some 'mourn' period, emotionally conflicted or something, then accepted the fact. But none, so I classified him as 'tr*sh ML', due to how unsympathetic he was to his supposedly 'former' crush and supposedly 'close friend'. His response is so creepily cold, I kinda suspect he was under drugs or hypnosis from the MC.

and.. the author just shoved the explanation to our face, that ML's feelings on 'original' MQ is affection that's actually not necessarily love for a spouse... then why'd ML bother thinking of confessing... sigh..

I was expecting the double transmigration plot, as in, someone took over his body in the middle or he simply forgot his 'previous' life in this so called novel world. But, the author was in a hurry to pull the curtain down, this potential plot just went to tr*sh bin just like that

but was disappointed that there was none, lol

The rushed ending. As other commentators have said, they haven't spoken to each other for about a year (?), our gentleman behaved in a very strange way and just after Mu had fussed over him and looked after him during his coma, he just ran away and gave him the cold shoulder. What the hell?

And then he just proposed as if nothing had happened. Honestly, the author blew the ending.

I would have understood it better if the author had simply written that Ji Liyun woke up, they talked, cried and in a month he would have proposed. But no, it was necessary to add this moment with ignoring, and that's what I don't understand. I can't say anything about the villains and some other plot points. The moment with Ji Liyun's feelings about the original Mu Qingyan and the current one is a bit annoying, and I would like, of course, to go into more depth on this topic, but I'm ready to forgive this moment simply for the sake of the characters and their rare dynamics.

they are the same though I haven't read how. I can only assume there was a system error or rebirth then transmigration back to his OG timeline for MC. Will update later

ML got hurt and didn't meet the MC for over a year and came back with a proposal?

The last chaprer there was an incident that cause the ML to be in coma for a few months, then he woke up and did not show his face just like that for like a year or months. And then suddenly he came back again and proposed. Then the story is done.
