The overarching plot was very bittersweet but ultimately a happy ending :3 The MC is interesting because he starts out seemingly emotionless, but there’s an explanation for that. He’s also fairly smart, like, he immediately notices when ML starts to fall for him in the beginning and his reaction is just, whoops, oh well, and goes with it.

ML is your typical, obsessive yandere type, but he’s also very pampering, and MC totally digs his yandere side anyway. They’re tooth-achingly sweet in every arc. I highly recommend! <<less

As for the story, it’s a short and sweet 67 chapters, so it’s not dragged out nor is it rushed. The plot was intriguing enough to keep me reading (mostly because i very much enjoyed the sweetness of the main cp). There’s a major reveal near the end that flips originally humorous settings into something that made my heart ache.

Side characters are also developed well and not forgotten about. The side CP was very sweet and I actually didn’t expect them to become a couple but it made sense when it happened; I definitely liked them too. Overall, I highly recommend!!! <<less

The author mentions several times in the notes that this story is meant to be a Mary Sue dogblood type story with naive, girly shou. But honestly? The MC wasn’t bad at all IMO esp compared to plenty other webnovels I’ve read. He’s rather open-minded, and the love b/w MC and ML is reciprocal and very sweet as you can always expect from this author.

It’s technically a QT novel except the different worlds are mental worlds created by the ML’s split personalities, similar to Game Loading’s ML’s split soul worlds. I wouldn’t call it mind-blowing amazing, but I did like it quite a lot. <<less

I really liked it! It’s a unique story—the past worlds the MC had transmigrated to each have an ML who reappear in his current world to win over his love. It’s basically the reverse plot of 7 men, where MC eas trying to get the MLs to fall for him, while in this one the MLs try to get MC to fall for them. Very fun and sweet story with a HE and although it’s only 64 chapters it had a lot of substance and felt complete. <<less

Arcs all were BE becuz of the nature of the “heroic death” system, but the re:arcs make up for it with HE replacing the original BEs later. Overarching plot explained why the HDS chose MC and who MC and ML are and their relation to each other. Though their original life doesn’t get a full arc for itself, it’s still sprinkled in throughout the course of the story’s latter half. 

I will say that I started disliking the ML near the end. He became so scummy by the end, but I also can’t exactly hate him becuz the repeated trauma of losing his lover ought to have shaken a lot of screws loose. The yandere tendencies make sense in light of that. I don’t approve, but it makes sense. (And hey, it’s a fictional novel. My bottom line is very low for fictional pieces as long as the author doesn’t sound like they’re condoning the actions overall (like trying to justify it irl), but just in the context of their fictional world, I’m lenient.)

My fav arcs were probably the Covenantor arc (reminded me slightly of the Rational/Emotional arc of Game Loading) and the Evil God arc cuz I’m a sucker for TGCF-type gods plots.

TL;DR Read the tags, if you don’t like, don’t read. Otherwise I highly recommend! It’s one of the better QT novels imo.  <<less

The MC and ML were so sweet to each other and all the side characters had their own personalities and stories and ultimately brought more humor to the story. I also enjoyed living the rich life vicariously through these characters even if tis but a faraway dream for me in reality QAQ 

I will say that I think I enjoyed this so much only because I knew not to take it so seriously. It’s supposed to be a silly, funny story, so inevitably it’s gonna fall short if you’re looking for in-depth plot and character growth and motives and that sort of stuff. Overall, I definitely recommend if you want to take a break from plot-heavy or angsty stories. <<less

This is a very fluffy and light read. I was pretty much squealing from the cuteness the whole read through. The MC is a snow leopard beastman and he has this habit of biting his tail and I just?? Find that so cute!!?? Whenever life was being too stressful I read this to take a break. Overall I really liked it! I recommend if you’re looking for a light read to pass time by. <<less

QT novel, and every arc is a BE except the last one, which wraps it all up to make it a happy ending overall. The MC’s task in each world is to raise favorability points of the target to 100. He is a clever, high EQ guy, and knows what he’s doing at all times. He created tragic endings on purpose so I took comfort in the fact that he wasn’t actually the tragic character he’d act out.

ML is the same person each time and is formally introduced near the end. He’s sweet, not scummy at all.

I had to take a break from reading this several times because I prefer fluffy, light hearted stories, or at least for there to be HEs, so my heart could not the repetitive BEs in this novel. Despite that, I still was interested enough to finish it all the way through. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good read. <<less

That being said, I kinda liked this novel. One of the things I really liked was the female lead of each arc whose destiny the MC has to change for the better. She usually ends up being a cool, strong person and that was refreshing to see where in most other BL novels, females will be green tea b*tches or something.

MC’s thoughts and convos with his system were also really humorous to me, and made a lot of the story manageable to stomach. Because outside of that, there’s a lot of immoral elements to the story, mainly cuz of the ML constantly “raping” the MC (for the sake of not going OOC the MC has to act like he doesn’t like it, but he and his system know very well how greatly he enjoys it) and the MC’s tragic death at the end of each arc once he’s fulfilled his task. 

SPOILER about the end chapters but this might also make this easier to stomach for those hesitant about the r*pe: The ML can also see the MC’s thoughts when he’s screwing him, which actually turns each plot from tragic to straight up crack humor. The ML himself often became speechless from MC’s shamelessness. <<less

He repays kindness with kindness and will hit back those who try to hurt him or his allies. Also his and ML’s relationship is so very sweet. Great well-paced plot, great characters, great ending! The majority of the story is pretty much a short and sweet romance. I really seem to like the whole ML-mistakenly-believes-MC-likes-him trope because I had a lot of fun reading their interactions during the misunderstanding. (I mean I also like Don’t You Like Me, Everyone Thinks That I Like Him, The Demon King Always Thinks I’m Secretly in Love with Him, etc., so…). After the misunderstanding clears and they get together I did get a bit bored though, and the last arc was kinda out of the blue, but it’s pretty short so I didn’t think about it too much. I have kept close tabs on this story since like Ch 30 or something and read every translated chapter as it updated cuz I was hooked.  But because of that I was forced to savor each chapter and so that might make me very biased for this webnovel. I noticed a lot of reviews give this low ratings and dropped at ch 70 because of dubcon/r*pe which yeah, I get it, I myself also always prefer consensual over noncon in whatever I read, but at the same time, such themes are so common in CN BL that I’m able to gloss over it pretty easily at this point (in fiction obviously, not irl). I also didn’t think it was bad enough to drop the whole story over..?? But I guess it’s cuz I’ve read way worse.
