I read a lot of novels but its always hard for me to remember novels to recommend to my friends.

This list is a compilation of Spice-free, wholesome novels that all get 5 stars from me. Lmk if you know any other good novels!

I read a pretty wide range of genres, but in general I avoid harem, bad-end/tragedies (real life is depressing enough lol), and yandere (they creep me out). You might find some of the above on this list, but they'd have to be really good.

Updates whenever I read something good (fairly often bc I read an insane amount), but I'm pretty selective about what goes onto this list specifically. Check my reading list for the others that aren't quite at the this level. <<less

Most of these series with Harem tags generally don't scream harem. More of just the protagonist being around a lot of females, but doesn't really do anything s*xual to them. Or in one series case, a recurring side character with a harem. <<less

- I eat anything no romance, straight, BL, GL. As long as it is good story why not? I ship anyone as long it is cute!

- The MC is I think funny, decent, or good. The side character is not too flat. I avoided pe*vert protag, aiming for harem is a big no, especially slaving someone for pe*vert desire is a no go.

- Story is good, I prefer slow paced, or while MC is gone world still continuing not revolving MC.

- I prefer slow paced romance or romance as sub-plot, or no romance at all, If its twisted but interesting I will add it. If its healthy relationship I will add it too. Yandere or Possesive character is good if its been used well?

- I will give short description each novel (beware of spoiler), and what I think about it.

*Note: I dislike when it is all serious and tense suddenly romance pop up. I wont dislike if the novel stated it, or the entry is natural, but forced suddenly out of nowhere I dislike it. It is like a pinapple pizza, when you are expecting pizza but suddenly there is a pinapple on it. You like pinapple, but not at your pizza. <<less
