Welcome stumbling passengers or veterans to the second installment of this list. 

Somethings I never had the chance to note because I (also) filled up the description boxes’ capacity limit in the first list. 

1. I have not read all the novels on this list YET. All read novels are on part 1 with the according reviews. I made this list so I could have something visual to look at when looking for good quality novels to read. I judge "good quality novels" by seeming reviews and ratings or perhaps the book has an interesting premise you don’t usually find.

2.  I look for a capable MC and a subjectively respectful ML, but that doesn’t necessarily mean every book I put here fits that requirement. Once again, there are always exceptions. 

3. I don't like looking at the rating of the novel when there are barely any reviews. Thus I look at the reviews. If the reviews (even scarce) like it, it has potential. Thus, FME indicates that a novel has been added regardless of NU rating.

I really like unique stories so I try my best to find stories with unusual and refreshing plots that are different, though sometimes clichéd and trope-ish stories will be included if executed well, also since it’s kind of my guilty pleasure ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ 

I really enjoy tragedies with happy endings, psychological and angst so be prepared for dog blood in some of them! I include both popular and underrated stories, though I’m definitely trying to dig around the more underrated ones I’ve read and newly discovered ones to recommend.

I’m a very picky reader so I don’t add stories frequently, but still regularly so!!

For "manly gay couple" some characters may have traditionally feminine traits, but I consider them a "manly" couple because they do not play an ersatz "wife" role in the story. On the other hand, stories with bottoms who are outwardly masculine but play a wife role in the relationship would not be considered a "manly gay couple" in this list.

A "traditional" top-bottom dynamic is primarily defined here as one where the bottom is an ersatz traditional woman. Certain danmei-specific tropes that make a character easily identifiable as the bottom or top could also qualify.

Older brother - young brother dynamics are only considered non-traditional if the shou is also on the more masculine side / clearly does not play a wife role. <<less
