My Rating: 9/10

I only rated this low because of the mtl, otherwise this would be at least a 9.5 story. I love the FL and her decisiveness. I love how she never holds back and doesn't really wanna get into trouble, however, if someone messes with her on their own violation then she never stays quiet and will give back a tenfold! I also love ML's devotion to her. Their relationship is precious!!! Especially after I read the spoilers on the epilogue which I couldn't find the mtl of. Either way, a must read! <<less

“… Hurry up and start acting!”

Ji Fanyin’s phone suddenly rang in the midst of a date with a domineering CEO at Tokyo’s tower. With a smile on her lips, she rejected the call and said, “Sorry, it’s another customer.”

“… I’ll pay you ten times the price. Switch off your phone.”

By the time Ji Xinxin finally returned back to the country, Ji Fanyin successfully retired from the scenes with the massive fortune she had amassed.

My Rating: 8.8/10

I love the FL. On top of being a brilliant and flawless actress, she truly understands the complexities of human psychology, not just that of men, allowing her to make any situation turn to her advantage. The way she manipulates people, and eventually pushes each and every one of those scums into an abysmal hell of their own was terrifying to say the least.

She is a Mary Sue, sure. But unlike many Mary Sue FMCs, the FL here doesn't annoy you. In fact, each of her successes have a myriad of intricately woven schemes by herself that eventually fall together in place. While revenge wasn't her primary intention, she doesn't shy away from it. She empathizes with the original body owner, but also acknowledges that the original body owner had herself to blame as well for the things she willingly endured despite being smart enough to know better.

It's not victim blaming when it's the truth. Anyways, this would be a 9.5 novel but I personally am not satisfied with some aspects of the ending. I also don't like the fact that the scum who suffered the most in the end was also the one who did the least to torment the original body owner. Whereas, the people mainly responsible (her parents) got off too easy.

The ending was also a bit abrupt. While the romance was lacking (which I have no qualms about) and I'm happy about the identity of the ML, I wish we would have at least known more about the basis of his love and devotion towards FL, like why exactly? What made him fall in love with her to that extent? So yeah, while the story wrapped up with little to no plot holes, it still feels somewhat unfinished. That is not to say I didn't enjoy the novel. Quite the opposite actually. The psychological aspect of it was truly thrilling and felt like a breath of fresh air among many other juvenile dog blood drama. <<less
