ML is a sub female, he have a fiance but his fiance cheated on him to some female and ML ended up broken up with him, some review said that ML is s*upid for not telling others the reason he broken up with his ex, GIRLLLLLLLL the ML explain why he can't tell the truth about his ex in some chapter and it make sense to me, better read carefully before spouting some nonsense in the review section lol

Conclusion, it's short, bcs it's short they didn't dig really deep into every infrastructure but it's quite good for 60's chapter, I've seen worse than this...recomended

The novel tells a store about how Lin Xuan transmigrated to ancient china during turbulent time as war, famine, rebellion is everywhere in ancient china, and the author really doing her research in this novel because so many history of china is being told in this novel like real real history.

It's more like slice of life how Lin Xuan from a pitipul young man without many (bcs he's robbed) to become the emperor of his ming dynasty. The first arc is interesting to read but sometime trough the novel can be boring too, I have a hard time to finished it bcs it's really slice of life day to day life of MC. 

Romance? Almost nothing and when it happen it's so abrupt that I was also confuse WTF when did this happen haha and when I come to myself again they already have their first night lol. Romance almost nothing and when it happend nothing really so sweet of anything special, almost like what should I say......nothing.....hahaha really don't have too much expectation on the romance, I kinda agree with the review Chen Bai Song (ML) really didn't have the aura of ML that much, if only the prime minister younger then he would be better ML but he's old so nah

Many of MC's decree is so good but also not make sense at all like hell no they will accept that in ancient china, like never ever gonna happend, and that's ruin the realness of the story for me.

Conclussion: it's good novel, good writing, good research from the author, but lack romance, lack realness and get boring pretty often, thankfully I survived lol

ML is super possesive more like yandare....if you like that kind of theme then this novel is for you, MC is sick beauty but he can tamed ML into a docile wolf lol, many time I want to punch the ML because of how he behave but it's also because his past and many other aspect that makes him don't know how to love properly

In Back To The Beginning Of Ming To Do Charity the MC's way to become emperor is smooth sailing but the way he create rule is so modern, it doesn't make sense to applied in ancient time like hell no freaking way that is gonna work

But in Royal Road the MC is so smart, the way he make rule or implement his thought is not contradicted with the social life in ancient china, all his rule also for the sake of his people, but way more make sense than Back To The Beginning Of Ming To Do Charity.

But the minus is this novel is a hell to read, makes my head dizzy, it's so so so hard to read, all the politics, budism, etc is so hard to me...for me Back To The Beginning Of Ming To Do Charity way more essy to read.

Royal Road is also kinda boring, I'm trying so hard just to finish it, not gonna lie I skipped alot of it because it's just so boring to read.

My conclusion is this novel way better then Back To The Beginning Of Ming To Do Charity, but can be so boring, and thank god I finally finish it lol

By the way the romance started early, at least for ML but the "real romance" started from chapter 270-is. The smut is kinda hot for this serious type of novel haha

At first the story is good I mean at least readeble but in the near the end of the book, idk what author is thinking but ML decision to solve the problem is soooo messy and bloody, that if it's happen in real life then his life will be ruined forever.....of the author like a bloody bath or what I don't know

ML's way of solving his problem is irk me so much, there were so many other ways that is more possible to do actually but no he choose the bloodiest, the messiest, the most s*upid way too.....such a s*upid plot by author, maybe he/she want to have dramatic plot near ending but sorry it's just annoying to read have to forved myself and skip alot because of that.

I think I will have klise novel that is easy to read l, but not this novel is annoying lol

This novel feels like half way done, when I only started to enjoy the angst the author end it abruptly, short story so the author gave so many time skip, they seperated for more than 2 years but just in one or two pharagraphs, the wife chasing novel that is not satisfying.

If you wanna read novel that have wife chasing theme, want to cry for the characters, or feel pain for the characters....I suggest don't bother to read this novel, because you will feel nothing of it here.

I mean if you are in 2010's then you'll probably will like it so much, but since this is 2020's then this type of novel is too toxic to be digest by me. So much forcing, pulling, bloody, no moral type of story.

MC is smart, calm yet short tempered, cold, and tsundere. ML is funny I mean super chaotic lol, like a puppy, but also cruel and cold as a gang leader.

The story just like in the synopsis, and then ML came to help MC and then they fall in love, ML knows about the baby and mpreg, they have second son.

But it's so fast becoming boring and repetetive conflic makes it hard for me to finished the story, it took me almost one week to finished it, not because of the chapter are many or the chapter is long, but I kept getting distracted because this story remind me of my old self who like to read tr*sh novel, well at least this novel better than that tr*sh novel.....still it's hard to finished it without me being sleepy after every chapter.

Oh btw the smut is kinda hot too.

ML's past life is so sad, tragic, and full of trauma, so when MC came into his life, he already too broken to be saved, MC is the most kind, loving, pampering seme. He does not wrong ML at all, he loved, cared, spoiled, and pampered ML so much, he tried every way to save ML in his past life, but ML had decided that he wanted to die anyway.....it broke me when MC kept blame himself for coming too late to save MC, but actually he doesn't have to, because ML already too broken when they get together.

It's not MC's fault for not noticing ML love for him for years because ML is too good at keeping his feeling to himself, MC just having his youthfull to the fullest, he have his job, he makes friends,he enjoying his life, and that's totally okay for me

When MC reborn, he spoiled ML even more, doing everything to make ML enjoying his life too, making ML want to life for very long time in this life, fulfilling every dream that he said in his past life, being his mother, father, lover, relative for ML.

MC is one of the sweetest and kindest seme that I've ever read, this is a bittersweet novel because in almost every chapter there are a journal from ML past life and his current life at the same date, we can see the opposite life ML have from lonely, sad, and gloomy life to his current exciting, happy, and  colorfull life....I'm really happy for the ML, he's going trough so much at such a young age, I can't help felt blessed with what I have because I know many people out there have a life like ML, such a heartwarming novel, short but meaningfull.
