Meng Sheng transformed into a man with a powerful breath in a prehistoric world where he was dressed in leathers and drank blood.

It is said that the greater the power, the greater the responsibility and burden of leading the tribesmen. The strain of survival soon fell on his shoulders.

Since then;

Holding the bone needle to teach sewing,

Undertaking the task of mining ore and smelting weapons,

Kicking shameless offenders,

Building houses, cages, and sheep pens, and

Domesticating wild animals like poultry, cattle, and sheep

Become Meng Sheng’s daily life…

The story's plot is really good but too much unnecessary drama.

It would have been a lot better if the ML's relationship with the scumbag is removed. To be honest, it just made me dislike the ML for protecting the reputation of that scumbag who ruined ML's marriage prospects after he cheated and leaving himself open to being framed by his ex that he was the one who cheated instead. To outsiders who don't know anything, it would really seem like that since MC and ML are neighbors and MC (who... more>> didn't know anything about this messy stuff) keep getting close to ML to help him after they met when ML broke-up with the scumbag. The only one who knows about the break-up right now in the entire village is the ML's mom, MC and the Village chief. However, ML only told the reason of the break-up to his mom and refused to say anything else to anyone, which is beyond s*upid in a society where one's reputation has a great impact in the position in the village. That scumbag will probably spread rumors about him in order to protect his reputation to make it seem that he was the victim and ML was the cheater. <<less

Cute story that's mostly fluff. The drama is light and moves quickly. NovelsAreLif's concerns about potential cheater drama doesn't really happen. While drama happens its pretty shallow and just there to keep things moving. Most of the story is the MC persuing the ML and cooking.

Nothing that stands out but a good light read for destressing.

I love the story how the MC make little by little change in the tribe with his own pace and tools limitation

I read for 10 chapters but got kind of bored after a while. It's more to do with my expectations, I think. This ended up being a lot more slow-paced and more character-focused than I was expecting. As in, the main focus so far has been on the complicated relationship between the ML (the shou) and his past lover and the conflicts that it causes. Based on the title, I was thinking it would focus more on infrastructure T.T so my expectations were let down. I'll have to come back... more>> and read it again another day. <<less

There's nothing much to review. It's pretty standard novel for a quick read.

Though I would put a warning as some might be disturbed.

According to poor MTL and what I could understand with the broken english, the main pairing age difference is around 8-10yrs. Which is an acceptable age difference but the thing is, the ML (shou) is around 16-17 aka minor in our standard while MC (gong) is already in his mid twenties aka pe*ophile in our standard lololol. Though ML is definitely considered an adult in the settings as... more>> it is a tribal society and life expectancy is short (his mother is already considered old with white hair) and people in his age group are already making pairs. <<less

Ah, I just finished this. I thought no one picked this yet.

This novel is the short version or the downgrade of Stone Age Husband Raising Journal. It has the exact plot line. Stone age, hunting beast/animal for food. ML shou broke up with one of the alpha male in the tribe after he found out the cheating. MC proceeded to woe ML with cooking yummy food. MC became the priest and started to help the tribe to develop farming, metal work, pottery, raising animal, trading, etc. The usual rivalry with... more>> the cheater and his companion.
Maybe because I alr read Stone Age Husband Raising Journal, so I felt so much boring while reading this. The author could provide more detail of a realistic living in kinda stone age era, there's no sense of danger aside from earlier chapter (being eaten by the beasts) or providing with the tribe detail for us to familiarize with the characters, or introduced more support characters and their stories. For example, trading unique never seen and not invented before weapon with other tribe, er they werent afraid of being conquered of the sort?
Ah right. Forgot. He had some kind of encyclopedia golden finger, maybe like wikipedia that he could read in his mind.
I said it was a stone age kinda era, because they lived in cave. Their main staple food was raw meat, they couldnt or didnt know the thing called cooked meat. No farming, no farm animals, just hunting and foraging. So yeah, the stone age era kinda or the ancient china stone age kinda lol
It was a struggle to finish reading this. <<less
