pros: well written, sweet dynamic, wlw side characters which was very nice and surprising since this isnt the norm usually lol, pacing was good, no villainisation of female or feminine (male omega) characters instead they were usually friendly and on good terms with the mcs which once again is pretty unusual for the genre

cons: mcs n their dynamic r both kinda generic for the genre lol i didnt particularly care much about them, u could tell the author forgot about some aspects or simply didnt plan them into the story well by how e.g. youyou or lil lemon got treated (a lot of different side characters that felt very irrelevant and like the mcs forgot they existed), also the permanent mating later one felt rushed and not discussed enough beforehand

pros: very well-written with good pacing and plot, good ratio of female to male characters and the female characters are well-developed and likeable (shu yanyan, baili qingmiao and qiu congxue were all really likeable and i also shipped the latter two quite a lot when they first met), overall even side characters got their own unique stories and personalities and had decent character growth throughout the novel

cons: the romance was a bit lacklustre as in i think it couldve profited from a bit more focus after the confession BUT its a very small con since overall the novel was still very good <<less

way better than i expected. chapters vary in length a lot but are generally short, making this overall a pretty fast read. the extras are absolutely vital to the story and should not be skipped since the “main story” by itself does not have the actual end (bit weird ngl). the characters are likeable, the writing style is nice and easy to follow. theres a decent plot going on and a good mix of that and the romance. both mcs are really loveable and they have a very fun dynamic and a sweet ending. overall very good and i think the pacing and shorter format fits this really well  <<less
