As you can see from the title, the main character transmigrates into the male lead's ex-boyfriend. Xiao YuanMu (male lead and original main character of the novel) took vengeance on the character the mc transmigrated into for his disgusting and evil deeds.

In the original novel, Xiao YuanMu died and was reborn somewhere along the events, so the main character tries to get to that point first before breaking up with the male lead(?), but what the main character doesn't realize is that Xiao YuanMu was reborn much earlier than he expected.

^ This is what I remember of the plot. Another thing to keep in mind is that this is a slowburn and slow-paced novel, so if that's not your thing, you might not want to try it.

To be completely honest, the time period when I was reading this and the novel itself overall as a whole felt like SUCH a fever dream. I completely love the concept this novel initially had, I mean I still do but the journey towards the end kinda idk, diminished?.. like the whole supernatural deities from outer space and the theme of galaxies, timelines, and space really was captivating to me. But the execution kind of disappointed me a little? Cause we never really got to see much interaction of the MC with other deities except the ML.... more>>

Another thing is that the way the novel describes, or more particularly, how the author describes and uses their words in this work felt very... vague and detailed at the same time? Like, you could get an absolute comprehensive and elaborate paragraph describing.. about what? That's the problem. You kind of don't know what the book is describing at times. It uses such detailed explanations for the most hazy concepts.

But I'm not saying this was a bad read, no, it was quite the fine one. Just really wished there were some modifications here and there.

Such a lovely novel that felt so different from the norm, like a breath of fresh air, with such nice realism and character depth.

The main character is able to see other people's mood index values and the color that represents their mood, such as white for happiness/neutrality, blue for sadness, green for awkwardness, pink for love, yellow for desire, black for fear, and so on.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and writing style of this novel, especially the first-person-view of the main character, such a nice little detail that complements the story well, it wouldn't give off the vibes it does now if it was written in third-person-view, as most general danmei novels do.

I put this novel off for SUCH a long time because i thought that i just…. wouldn’t be able to get into it for some reason? Now i’m REALLY regretting that decision. This novel PERFECTLY captured the essence and feelings of youth, ironically since both the male leads are over their 20s. The progression of the story felt so natural and relaxing in a way, this is one of the reasons why i love LOVE highschool novels!! Gives me nostalgic vibes for some reason.... more>>

The story at first gives you the feeling that it will be your usual transmigration and light-hearted novel that forgot the plot throughout the chapters but this one?? NO. the way they just punch you in the eyeball with plot in the later chapters is so ??? Like where’s the warning. I absolutely adore novels like these that are fun to read YET still actually have some sense of story in it. Pls pls pls read this!!!
