It's amazingly good and everything about this is so warm. Every chapters just makes you smile ; silently cheering for the protagonist and his journey breaking out of his cocoon.

Like every comments, the plot has no drama, no dog blood – nothing but a very introvert slice of life. So if you're looking for a good read were walking is curiosity and walk out is a smile then read it.

However, if you are looking for more action or active (like characters going to places and doing things other than... more>> staying at home) then this many just be the one you put back for when you want to relax your brain.

Though, relax might be a weird word to describe the feeling I had after reading the plot then jumping straight into the story... lol

Don't worry this is a HE and one of my favourite part of the novel is when the protagonist draws himself and his boyfriend. They really have different thoughts and it cute. I can't describe it.

This is cute and half-breaking at the same time.

Lin Anran is too damned pure on this earth. He have low self-esteem and have a pessimistic character. If I were existed there, I will definitely give him a big hug and lots of encouragement. This little sheep needs a lot of loving and Shang Hao voluntarily and very willing to take that role.

Shang Hao truly love his little sheep. He gives a lot of support to his lover. I foolishly smile when I read his POV. There are times he can... more>> be sly and deceptive. As our little sheep said, he's a stinky pe*vert.

Plot wise: it's cute and give a punch on your heart when reading the POV of Lin Anran. In the later chapters, you can see the character development on him.

Be warn for the fluff. <<less

Interesting concept, but it quickly got boring. I don’t think slice of life is for me. I thought this was a real snoozer about 90% of the time.

Don’t get me wrong, I thought it was a very sweet story with a ML I actually liked. If you’re looking for something fluffy and chill, you’ll probably enjoy it. It just wasn’t exciting enough for me, personally.

I can’t believe it’s over, I want more. I want to see Ranran and Shang Hao living together for many more years, they’re so adorable and Lin Anran’s development as a character was so incredible, I loved every second of it. Rather than hurt/comfort this feels almost like an angst/comfort. I really loved the comforting, soft and fluffy moments a lot.

The author did a very good job, in the beginning I was doubtful if Shang Hao was real or not, Lin Anran’s mental illness is written in such a realistic... more>> way (more in terms of how he’s treated by society than actual medical facts) that I could almost see his daily and past troubles play out right in front of my eyes, and Shang Hao was such an amazing partner that I could never get tired of reading it. I 100% would love to read this again. <<less

Beautiful! Lovely! A masterpiece! Must read!!!

As an introvert who is exactly like MC, I can’t express how much joy I felt when I saw a character having the same troubles and personality as me, and it was executed extremely well! Everything is reasonable and so on. The angst, romance, comedy, all in one, I love it! Perfect! It has everything I like and mind you that I rarely read romance novels since I get an ick, but this one? This one is an exception, the “I love you’s” they shared... more>> were not too sappy yet full of love and affection.

Im an extremely picky reader and hesitated to read this since I have a lot of tropes that I dislike, but I chose to take a gamble and read this... and it DID NOT disappoint me!! It has all the tropes I like, nothing made my stomach feel sick, there’s no trope that I disliked in here, the pacing was just right for me! I was worried that the pacing will be slow and end me up in a reading slump but NOPE! It got me hooked and excited to read the next chapters, I couldn’t put it down even if it was just a slice of life!

I also love the ML’s approach towards opening up MC’s shell gently, I love everything about this couple, it made my heart feel warm. Both of the take initiative in the relationship, not one sided. I have nothing to complain about except for the rushed ending but Im willing to overlook it.

As for the love at first sight here... I think it was well written, the way their love at first sight was described made it feel like they’ve been inlove for several lifetimes, several reincarnations, thousands of years, as if there was a red string attached to them that will always make them find eachother and fall inlove all over again.

I felt so much emotions while reading this beautiful story, and I’m extremely glad that I chose to bite the bullet and read it despite being on the verge of a reading slump.

A MUST READ!! GO READ THIS RN! <<less

I fell in love with this. It has its own flaws but it definitely deserves 5 stars.

It was a very nice journey. I was actually nervous of reading this at first because of the description. I remember stacking this for weeks, looking at it, contemplating if I am ready to read it. Today, I finally had the courage to read this and it was worth it. It was short - the type that you can finish for a day but it was very fulfilling.

I am not well-versed when it comes... more>> to mental health problems but I cannot not symphatized with the MC's pain and frustrations. It is very hard to accept that something that gives you comfort and happiness might not be 'real'.

The story depicts the MC's journey towards healing. He had a 'psychological problem' which made it difficult for him to determine if the loving and doting ML on his side is real or just a pigment of his imagination.

I teared up in the end because I was comforted that the MC has achieved the ending that he deserves. <<less

interesting concept but it got boring quickly. you will like this if you want to read fluff piece which doesnt need much thinking

however there are massive plot holes present: like 1) MC wasnt very uncomfortable w having a friend he's known for years in his house but is okay with ML sleeping in his bed being intimate w him but has known for only ONE MONTH??

and ml's attraction towards MC is just, , he's the catalyst to my gay awakening so I want to be with him, , not... more>> even just s*x friends or smthn but the im-in-Love-with-him, the big capital L kind when he's known him for only a month, , barely talked to him in the meantime or went to dates or known more abt his personality hobbies etc (I under stand it's bcs of mc's condition but One month is far too early generally speaking)

im kind of surprised the problem of their difference in huge socio economic status is even mentioned, unlike most novels out there. being in a srs relationship w someone much much richer than you, living with the knowledge the watch they wear alone is more expensive than your entire year's income and no matter how hard you try you wouldn't be able to catch up to them is not exactly easy unless you both are in Deep...

i haven't continued ahead but I hope the MC makes more actual progress and starts having more friends who he can talk to, and the author hasn't left it at good cozy relationship = his condition automatically improving bcs of the power of true LOVE

like I said its not a danmei to be taken deeply, the ML is a sweetheart and the MC is adorable like a baby rabbit~ tho <<less

Very cute and heartwarming novel. It was very well written and the translators did a great job.

I really liked that we, as the readers also feel the anxiousness and curiosity along with the MC to find out whether his lover is real or just part of his imagination. It can be a bit angsty in some parts. But seeing the mc's development and changing himself slowly really gives my heart a very warm feeling.

Would definitely recommend it 200% for those who wants a quick read and those who are currently... more>> bored. <<less

It's the best. Best slice of life I have read. Like ever. I cried, my heart f*cking palpitated at moments and then beat like a drum other moments. Everyone who likes romance, much less BL, should stop and read this novel. I have no other words but this. Please go you all. Our main characters aren't perfect, but they complete each other in a way that makes you want to experience romance yourself. This novel will forever be memorable. Like wow.

I do think there were things that could be done better. Especially in mental health (no one is going to talk about how the therapist wrongly diagnosed our MC in multiple ways?) and relationship dynamic (for example, fixing our ML's bad thoughts and slight superiority complex and the weird way he approached the MC's inferiority complex) regard, but considering our author is no professional and the novel was still executed well, I will leave it there.

This novel put me in a rollercoaster of emotions and I got on it voluntarily.

At the beginning I was actually really questioning whether the ML was actually just a figment of the MC's imagination and when I finally got the answer my emotions got the best of me and I cried, I cried like a baby.

You know what? Five stars! I have no words, this novel is just so sweet with a taste of sourness at a little, just a little bitterness. Read this. I repeat, you have to read this! I love it and I'm sure yo will too, trust me. If you don't read this novel, you will miss out on something very precious.

This story is a lovely fairytale. As yes, no way it is realistic in any way. Even for a fictional romance it is somewhat far fetched.

I deducted 0.5 points due to their love at first sight. It's like those old romance Kdramas... ML just falls in love with the female lead or in this case the MC and then decides that's the one, can't forget him and even gets obsessed with MC for no particular reason. MC doesn't have to do anything except for just being there.

I always struggle with... more>> these kind of 'back story' which isn't a back story at all, just cupid that invisibly and magically appears to shoot his arrow and voila there is our cp that unconditionally loves eachother.

Apart from this, the character change (MC getting less anxious) also doesn't flow that naturally.

I still enjoyed it a lot. <<less

Such a satisfying read. Just pure fluff and a heavy dose of sweet.

Not the right read if your looking for action, dog blood or melodrama. There is no specific antagonist nor a substantial plot yet it captures your interest with with cute interaction of the main couple and the extremely lovable MC in it.

The characterization is good, the usage of love at first site and gaining confidence from a relationship is so well portrayed.

I read a lot. I read 120+ stories in two days, and I just consume consume consume. I read this story in 3 days, it just kept making me giggle and read passages to my husband. It is just pure joy and MC and ML feel so real! I will never forget this story, the beauty of the prose, the imagery, and the perfect descriptions of love and hugs.

I recommend a million times.

Though this story has some weaknesses it still ranks 5 stars for me.

MC is a young introvert man to the point that he didn't leave home for 6 month straight. He is rather antisocial and almost unable to speak to people. He is basically not able to express himself. So when he tells his psychological counselor that he made a new friend that his lives with him... All the alarms are going off... even MC himself knows with his prior problems he might only be imagine that person but he... more>> still loves him deeply and will do everything possible to protect and hide him away.

It takes about 20 chapter until he realizes that ML is no figment of his mind but the real big boss. Though I felt a bit helpless reading about that I really had to laugh too. Like when MC was mourning about his split personality buying such expensive stuff and how he needs to make more money to afford himself. ML is rich in emotions but really can't express himself and has low self-esteem.

ML does know about the timid MC and their coincidentally meeting was by far a coincidence. ML worked really hard for MC and although he did some s*upid stuff to make MC talk, he realizes relatively soon that it is the wrong approach and corrects himself. He gives as much security and love to MC as possible and even powers himself somewhat to give MC a boost so that they can be equal partners.

I just love the flow. It's sweet and sad sometimes but feels just right even some face slapping is insert and it's great. In-between I was grinning like the grich cause of the fun moments.

I only feel like the end was rather rushed. I wish it was longer.

I highly recommend this one. <<less

Ahhh it's good.

The story is a wonderful balance of fluff, humor, angst, and romance/character development.

The MC is someone with deep anxiety, insecurity, and extremely introverted (very very relateable).

Super gentle, kind, handsome, and super committed to helping the MC grow and express himself, instead of keeping the status quo and being forever the dominant one in the relationship.

The MC grows throughout his interactions, slowly using courage and support from his loved ones to come out of his shell and grow into himself.

Really sweet slice-of-life story.

I wonder why I found the novel so late. It's a low key gem.

I have read many BL novels where MC/ML has a mental illness but this one showed it much better.

ML is so supportive and considerate of the MC.

Read this light novel to heal your heart.

My favorite part is that it has only 57 chapters. So you can read it 1 day if you want to. (I get bored easily after 80 chapters if the novel is not super duper good so I prefer novels with less than 100 chapters)

Comedic undertone is laughable as well.

Here I am again, disappointed with another highly rated novel. Though the premise is somewhat interesting, the characters themselves didn't feel very realistic, and their behavior and thoughts throughout the novel didn't make much sense to me. I didn't like the main character, and the relationship between the two leads just wasn't interesting for me. It's basically a super cute (and traumatized homebody) MC and pampering rich CEO ML, and beyond them coexisting in their own little world, not too much really happens in the novel. I do usually enjoy... more>> slice of life, but this novel just felt more a waste of time for me.

The start of their relationship and the reason why ML was so obsessed with MC made no sense to me, and I think I just get easily bored with established relationships as there's no falling in love since they're already in love. There's very little drama in this novel, and the only real conflict is internal for the MC, and ML is just there being perfect and solid, making zero mistakes with his actions or communication. I really find stories where characters are "healed by the power of love" to be quite boring and contrived, but given the premise, I probably could have seen that plotline coming. <<less
