I expected a fluff and light read, like other school life novels, but I was wrong. I hadn't read the key words before reading, but I'm not going to say it was a bad surprise, it made the story a little more unique. Warning: self harm, cruel death and families relationship are... meh. It's not heavy-handed and I didn't feel the darkness of the subject too much while reading it, but avoid this story if it's one of your triggers.

The revenge part is satisfying, not excessive and you feel that the characters have grown.

For the main couple, I haven't find them really healthy, nor always cute, and it would be nice if they saw a therapist xD Well, ML is yandere-ish, he is the most possessive, but also the most dependent in this relationship. Some details made me wince, but MC likes it and is very aware of ML's tendencies. In fact, MC and ML are a bit alike on this aspect, it's just more present for one than for the other. Everything is clear and everything is always consented, they have good communication, no sh*tty lies.

I'm a little frustrated that we don't know the origin of MC's "bloodsucker" trait. We know it probably runs in the family, but that's it. I don't know if I'm thinking too much, but I always wondered if the death of MC's father was related to this legacy. After all, this point has not been developed either, allowing my imagination to run wild xD

The story can be summarized by: hoarding, fighting zombies and mutated creatures and building the base. The revenge side does not take up too much space, the scum get into trouble very well on their own (but it isn't less satisfying). MC and ML are in love from the beginning of the story and are together soon enough, they don't stay beating around the bush xD

However, aside from misinterpreting things, he has a good intuition regarding the entertainment industry, so to say he's a total idiot is wrong. ML is a high level actor returning to a beginner dungeon. His rebirth is an opportunity for him not to repeat the mistakes of the past. Like any ordinary person, he is baffled by MC, who is obsessed with becoming his father. Eventually he can only become helpless and charmed xD

A couple of actor, first love, playfull, caretaker MC x pure heart more and more enthusiastic ML! They're a kind of fate love. No misunderstanding. They take care of each other a lot, I have the feeling that if you touch one, the other will welcome you with a knife, but it may be me xD

For MC bio family, that take some time, they come slowly into his life, not abruptly. The family is a big heart warming point <3 No conflict with the adoptive family, if you ask yourself the question!

MC and ML are together since 7 years and we read their "secret love life". Overall, it's a slice of life, sugar (*cough* vinegar *cough*) and a little bit of stress, since there's also their coming out to their families ~

I'm a bit frustrated, because I couldn't find the end of the extra about the third couple, I don't know if the author wrote it or not :/

Otherwise the story is nice to pass the time and have a good time. Stressful times don't last long. The secondary characters have presence and the story doesn't just focus on the MC's point of view. <<less

MC is a kind-of regressor and thinks he was living in a novel in his previous timeline. MC is competent in many areas, even if we know that it was progressive, that he has quite a few years of experience (and the golden fingers to know the future), he is a little "Mister perfect". He is kind to those who are kind to him and ruthless to those who threaten him. He's not a very empathetic person, so I don't have much sympathy for him about what happened to him in his last life.

ML has money and a finance genius, a big-tailed wolf, loves spoil MC. I have nothing to say about their relationship, they're cute

The Shen people eh, nothing good about them. Probably because of the plot halo, but they all seem superficial, they are all selfish and think only of themselves. Antagonists aren't very good character in general, I didn't feel like they were real human at all

And the end?? All the story is struggling, fight to have the better and after the truth, everything became like a fairytail for children??? Well '-' <<less

MC and ML have had a consensual relationship from the start (yes, despite the aphrodisiac trope at the start, it was MC who chose to seek a partner, rather than endure the fire). Despite the fact that the psychology of the characters leaves me a little perplexed, the story remains coherent. The main couple are very cute and complement each other well. They are honest with each other.

There are a few face slaps, but the plot is overall slick. The secondary characters have a sense of existence, but they stay in the background, they don't have much development. The one with the most important development is ogML. I feel complicated about him. He didn't steal his title as a scum at all, his original attitude towards MC is detestable, a real non-recyclable tr*sh. His development resembles that of a remorseful former lover, but I'm not satisfied. This garbage, when I look at the past, I had a hard time believing that he loved MC that much, but I open and close an eye.

Overall, there's not a lot of twist and I personally got a bit bored.Now let's talk about the romance part. MC grew up isolated from the outside world, so he is naive and pure, which translates to an ignorance of worldly affairs. ML has a twisted family pattern and has a dark temper, he was completely captivated as soon as he met MC, like the only light in the midst of darkness. Even though ML is really good for MC, but I find his desire to preserve his "pure spirit" infantilizes MC, which I didn't like. The romance is okay, I guess. <<less

I don't know how I got to the end of the story, but here I am...! It's mostly slice of life, not too much drama... except when there is, it's very bloody. There's no in-between, I found the characters very black and white. ML has a mental illness, but the psychological aspect didn't seem very well done to me, a little unrealistic. It comes back to the problem of people being too one-dimensional in fact.

Well, other than that, the story is quite fun to read and has quite a few funny moments. There's a lot of knives at first, but it calms down, leaving only the sugar.  <<less

At the beginning of the story, MC annoyed me a little, I found him a little too casual, but he is not an irresponsible person, which is shown in the continuation of the story. MC looks a bit like a world bug and is a bunch of clichés. He is a weak-looking little white face, but with a big gong in his heart. As a good gong, it is naturally the loudest, fastest and longest in the world... xD

As for ML, he is an authoritarian president. As an authoritarian president, he naturally has to think a lot and keep his face in all circumstances. It's quite amusing to see him scheming, but MC is simple-minded and so they talk like a chicken and a duck...
